They sell annuals, perennials, herbs, medicinal plants, and edible plants! We walked away with a huge cart of natives good for attracting pollinators as well as a few veggie plants! Their catalog is extensive and laid out in a way that was really user friendly. They also have a stand at the Burlington Farmer's Market - so you can find them there if you don't feel like traveling out to Jericho (though I suggest you do). The staff was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and very eager to help me select all the best options. I would recommend them to anyone in search of something special for the garden, or landscape they may be planning!

I contacted them and asked for a refund. They refunded the price of the plants but insisted that I pay the shipping cost because they don't include them in the refund. WHAT????? I totally understand if it was something that I did, returning or something, but they essentially sent me the wrong order and will not give me a full refund. I'm not at all happy. After six emails and them explaining the minitua of their return policy they STILL fail to admit their screwup and it still cost me money. SO IF you order red roses and they send yellow? No big deal you get whatever they feel like schlepping you, and be happy about it. I would not recommend them at all - - plus all the emails sounded like they were AI, NOT real person they never actually looked at my E-mails or addressed my concerns. ..They sent wrong plants, made me pay shipping on their screw up.. not happy Do Not recommend.

In both cases, replacements were sent immediately when I told them of the issues, and because they sent three-packs to replace the missing rhizomes, I ended up with more plants than I ordered. Overall an okay experience. They're cheaper than some more reliable mail order places and they're a little less of a roll of the dice than Etsy. They have some things I couldn't find elsewhere too.

We've never had a complaint before, but, this year we, unfortunately, got charged for an 8 foot tree when ours turned out to be barely over 7 feet. I wasn't thinking about it when I paid for it until on the way home my husband was upset that I paid more and said there was no way that tree was 8 feet. When we set it up at home it's at least 4" from our less than 8 ft ceilings and that's in the tree stand that raises it a couple inches. So we paid $10 more for our tree. I don't know if that is a complaint about service since they hand you a little plastic slip that shows what to pay and I didn't see a color coded price sheet, and, it was partly my fault for having a conversation with the clerk while paying and not realizing the price was over what it should have been. They do a nice job of shaking trees, wrapping trees, helping put them in the car and have a nice "assembly line" for doing so. If White's are reading this, I would love it if you would put that extra $10 in the Camp TaKumTa jar. I have often supported that camp in memory of my little sister who died from leukemia. Thanks!

The 5 stars assumes you want to cut your own tree - if not, you may get a surprise when you find that there are not any precut trees. Bob and Joan White own the farm. When you arrive, they will ask you if you have a saw - you're greeted when you drive in. We didn't and they gave us a nice, sharp, easy to use saw. The trees are organized by type on the farm. If you don't know what type of tree you want, you can drive around or you can ask for suggestions. The pathways to drive through are farm ground, but well maintained, so there is no worries about getting stuck. I wanted a Frazier Fur tree (the best tree for looks and holding it's needles in my opinion. The best tree all around.) I asked for the Fraziers and was pointed to the left. We drove around looking. We found a good patch of trees and got out to walk. My wife spotted our tree. It was perfect. I cut 'er down. I could have put it on our vehicle, but I thought it best to take my prize and carry it back to the barn. At the barn, they shake the tree, wrap it and help put it on your car (we have an SUV) and tie it down. Inside you get free hot chocolate. We bought our 2010 ornament - hand made in Vermont - and some maple candies to share with out of state family. The people are nice and very helpful. This was a picturesque family day driving to the country to get our family Christmas tree.

She said to come back within 20 minutes and she should have it fixed by then. That surprised me because she said she didn't know what was wrong with it. When I came back to pick it up, the owner (?) was at the counter and charged me $48+. I asked what was wrong with it, and she said it was a bad plug. I was shocked by the price, and queried, " You're going to charge me $48 for a $3 plug and work that would've taken about five minutes?" Her reply was curt and somewhat rude. She told me that they had to cover their bills somehow. To me, this was terrible customer service. It is my theory that the young lady at the counter could tell right away that it was just the plug when she examined it. I felt scammed. I would've happily bought a plug from them and done it myself if I only I had known. It would have been good customer service if she would have worked with me, but this woman was unwilling to budge. I tried communicating with them through email, asking if we could come to some sort of compromised bill. No one ever responded to any of my emails. Poor customer service doesn't pay in the end, but I had to!! $48 was a lot of money out of my very limited income.
