Years ago I went in to complain about an arrangement I had sent someone who told me it wasn't very good, and instead of taking it in stride she barred me from the store! Since then I have received a few arrangements ordered by friends and they were all sub par. I have not complained as they were gifts but I'm sure I have been targeted. This is the best florist I know of in Vermont, I imagine in southern Vermont there may be a few more of this calibre. They have the most unique selection of flowers and accessories, sometimes it seems they have less variety then some of the other florists in the area, but the quality and and originality of the flowers here is wonderful. I was reading some negative reviews about the owner. She's helped me twice and has been super sweet each time. I imagine if you go in here looking for the typical Vermont bouquet (a few Gerber daisies and carnations with ferns) then you will be disappointed. The place definitely values art over quantity. They get more expensive flowers, not much of the cheap stuff. I get happy each time I go in here. It's a refreshing change and I'm so glad they decided to open. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE DO NOT BUY FLOWERS FROM THIS STORE. I had the really unfortunate experience of having a conversation with the owner of this store. Well, I can't call it a conversation, she lectured me for (literally) 10 minutes about how if I wanted the same type of bouquet every other bride wants that she will refer me to Price Chopper. She informed me that she is an artist, she comes from a family of artists, and does not do the same thing as other florists. All well and good, right? I would have been happy to work on building a creative bouquet together, however she did not leave a second for me to say that NOR did she ask what I wanted and if I was flexible. I told her she would not be getting my business, not because I don't want a creative, artistic wedding bouquet, but because of having to endure a 10 minute rant about her own issues one week before my wedding. Don't make the same mistake, and choose a florist who will work with you, not against you. read more

In the past month or so, due to the passing away of two family members, I have been the recipient of two arrangements from this florist. The first one was a large dish filled with different bulbs which bloomed over a period of days! It was breathtaking and now I can plant them and watch them come up year after year. The second one was delivered today. The delivery man remembered we had a dog and came prepared with a dog biscuit for him and a radiant smile for me! How thoughtful! The flowers and bouquets here are on another level compared with other florists in the area. Really gorgeous and "fresh" arrangements. I can't speak to rude conversations other reviewers have complained of, but if you want breathtaking and creative flowers, my advice is to put on your big girl pants and look past it.
