After my partner came out from his 90 minute massage, he told me that whatever best message he'd had up to this time, Alexander had been at least twice as good. "He's a magician," my partner said. I prefer less firm massages and went with Anne for 60 minutes. I was so relaxed that I think I actually fell asleep! We both really liked that they used hot compresses/towels on our feet and backs, and put eye pillows on us when we faced up - we haven't had this before in massages. Also, I had asked for scent-free, and it truly was completely scent free! Loved our massages - I wish I could convey just how wonderful our experience was. Thank you Anne and Alexander! (And if you're a coffee-drinker, the location of the massage studio is just down the street from Freeform Coffee.)

I was worried everywhere would be fully booked during Memorial Day weekend, but I called Uptown Massage and spoke with Dianna on Friday and had 3 appointments for 10am on Sunday! She was very helpful on the phone and accommodated all of us, which was very unexpected and greatly appreciated. I figured we would all have to be booked in back to back appointments, but she fit us all in at the same time for 90 minute standard full-body treatments. Upon arriving, we were given water and signed in, and brought back to the rooms quickly. I have had quite a few massages in my time, but I can honestly say that this was one of the best massages I've ever had. The rooms were quiet and ambient, and all 3 masseuses followed our requests to a tee! I haven't felt this rejuvenated in a long time. 90 mins went by way too quick! Definitely make an appointment here if you're in the area. It was fantastic!

The staff consists of very polite Thai ladies and the massage area was clean and soothing. The masseuse, Bi, started the massage with warm wet towels on the bottoms of my feet, followed by an oil massage using her fingers, hands, and elbows. She worked me over literally from head to toe. I am hard of hearing with anxiety and after the 10th 'what' I knew they were getting irritated with me but I couldn't hear anything and I feel like they took advantage of that and kept pushing add-ons on me. All things offered will cost extra which I mentioned it was my first time getting a massage so I didn't know that until the end because I couldn't even hear what they said! I just nodded along worried I'd keep irritating them. Which I did feel the irritation transferred into the actual massage. The massage itself left me a headache, jaw pain, and right chest pains that lasted into the night through the next day. I left feeling sore and like I paid a fortune for just an overall not good experience. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Paula was very kind and welcoming. I booked a 30 minute chakra balancing and Reiki session and it all went by so quickly. I nearly cried at the beginning of it, somehow I thought of my therapist. I felt good after it was over. She tried to help me clear up some lingering stuff from a surgery I had a few years ago. She recommended I look into the throat chakra and get a turquoise necklace. Communication is something I've struggled with in therapy and in life so I wasn't surprised to hear that. She also helped with my fight-or-flight response which I know is always simmering below the surface. Overall, this was a great first experience and would come back the next time I visit Sedona.
