She was honest and knowledgeable about what to realistically expect from a delicate, fine-line tattoo on the foot and ankle. She explained everything clearly and never made me feel rushed. Before she even began tattooing, I had complete confidence in her skills and trusted her with a piece that means more to me than I can put into words. Lauren took something deeply personal and meaningful and transformed it into a beautiful piece I'll carry with me forever. I couldn't recommend her enough.

My artist, Cory Bob, had a guy who walked in showed him a photo of a truck and WHAM 4 hours later it was on his arm, on IG, and it was stunning. As for me, i go where i am the canvas and let my artists take the wheel. I saw their work at the philly convention 4 maybe 5 years ago and i was hooked. this being one of my 'bucket list' shops, I was very pleased with the concept we came up with. tattoo #35 was only a few hours and his color work was awesome. ( i haven't posted a picture cuz i don't want anybody getting any of my ideas lol) They take walk ins from how it looked. There was a young lady in the back doing hair too, so they do a bit of everything. I'm certain i'll go back but i surely will not be driving 9 hours to do it. Cory thanks again for all the fun!

Went into the shop while I was visiting Morehead. Asked for a small ampersand on my thumb. Mike,…read morethe shop owner, decided this would be a great piece for the apprentice and assured me that he wouldn't allow the apprentice to tattoo unless he had the utmost faith in him. I agreed, because I'm heavily tattooed and I think apprentices should get their chance to work on real customers. I regret allowing that to happen. We had to move the stencil six times. When he got to work, he couldn't follow the stencil. Eventually, we had to bring another artist in to try and fix his mistakes. It didn't look great. The healing process was terrible. I've never had such trouble with a tattoo. Most of the ink fell out and it doesn't even resemble an ampersand. It actually looks like I've got a prison tattoo on my HAND. Or something some teenager did with one of those beginner tattoo kits. Then the apprentice charged me $40 when Mike had previously quoted me $20. I felt bad for him too, because he tried so hard, so I gave him another $20. But this is not acceptable work. I would love to have my money back, especially now that my hand is permanently marred because of a serious lack of judgment on Mike's part. I wanted to write Mike directly before I left a public review, but the shop has no website or contact info so far as I can see. Anyway, if I were you, I would stay away from this shop or, at the very least, I wouldn't let the apprentice tattoo me.

He has this beautiful old skool style and amazing use of colors. Robert is also amazing. He remembers tattoos he worked on decades ago. Seriously, he remembers doing one of my husband's first tattoos that he got in the early 2000's. Oh and he does really good work. Check out their portfolios! As for the shop, I know they use clean packaged needles (you can watch them open the package). While they do have flash you can pick and stick, they mostly do custom work. It's in a cool section of town and the exposed brick on the inside is beautiful. My problem is all the scary taxidermy animals in bathroom. They tend to scare the pee out me me.
