From the friendly front desk staff to every teacher and staff member, it's clear that they're dedicated to creating a warm, nurturing environment. One of the things I appreciate most is how much the school emphasizes both kindness and education. They have events nearly every week that bring families together and build a strong sense of community. My daughter has flourished here--she's become a confident reader and has learned so much during her time in kindergarten. She's now fully prepared and excited to start 1st grade! I believe education and morals start at home, but having a school that reinforces those values is such a gift. Communication is top-notch--they use an app to keep parents informed, whether it's updates on classroom activities or even small incidents like a fall on the playground. I always feel in the loop and confident that my daughter is in great hands. We feel safe and secure every day she's there, and I'm excited to say that my son will be starting preschool at Montessori Education Center next year. I couldn't imagine a better place for my children to grow and learn.

It has been in existence for well over 30 years (and the prices are reminiscent of 1985! Just sayin'). My former husband attended here (in the same building) and so when our oldest turned 3, we enrolled him. He loved it (he is now 15, still with fond memories of MLC). Now my youngest, almost 4, has loved it too. I love that he skips in when I drop him off and is beaming and happy when I pick him up. This is TRUE Montessori, and it has been so wonderful to watch all 3 of my kids blossom and become more of themselves in the Montessori method-- confident, self assured and capable. I'll be so sad the end of next year when I won't have any more kiddos to come here! Check out this school! She uses all real materials/objects in teaching not just plastic toys like any other places. She seems to know how to discipline the children in a right way. I am totally in love with this school. I think she has no ratings because people do not know about her school much. . It is a home preschool setting with a lovely teacher. Not much advertising. I will definitely thinking about enrolling my son here.

Very rarely any issues, all the children seem to get along with one another and the environment is very welcoming and accommodating. Student:Teacher ratio is decent but manageable. Met a lot of new families, many of whom we're still in contact with. The only reason we're no longer at the school is because we moved to a new place pretty far but would still go to Spondeo! Ms. Kim and Ms. Nicolette are both incredible. My little one absolutely loved being in class with them and would always look forward to school every day. Ms. Kim takes a lot of time to make sure each child is learning and cares for them immensely. Humble brag but my child is ahead of her peers at her new school and her teacher has mentioned how impressed she is seeing everything learned from Ms. Kim. My kid was reading at age 3, counting to 100 and simple addition by age 4. After two years of study my child is in the upper range for Kinder & 1st grade reading and math thanks to being in Ms. Kim's class. She's always been very transparent and keeps parents abreast of their little one's learning throughout the week and activities. Highly recommend Spondeo.

I genuinely don't know if we could ever put into words how grateful we are for Spondeo Montessori…read more Our daughter is twice exceptional, or 2E. She is gifted academically, but she also has needs that simply do not fit neatly into a traditional classroom model. Before coming to Spondeo, we were at a gifted school in the Chandler district and were repeatedly told that what she needed most was a gifted environment so she wouldn't be bored. On paper, that made sense. In reality, it was an awful fit for her. What we have learned is that being gifted was never the whole picture. Yes, she needs to be challenged academically, and she absolutely thrives when given the opportunity to move at her own pace. But she also needs an environment that understands her nervous system, gives her room to regulate, and does not demand conformity simply for the sake of making a child fit into a traditional mold. That is where Spondeo has been such a blessing. They see the whole child. They recognize that a student can be incredibly advanced academically while still needing patience, flexibility, movement, choice, sensory support, and a different approach when something feels overwhelming. Instead of treating those needs like obstacles, Spondeo works with them. They meet her where she is and still continue to help her grow. Academically, she is able to flourish. She can work at the level she is capable of without being artificially held back by age or grade expectations. But what means even more to us is that Spondeo understands that education is not just about how quickly a child can read, write, or do math. A child has to feel safe enough to learn. They have to trust the adults around them. They have to be given space to become independent without constantly being forced into compliance. We have seen such a difference in our daughter since coming here. She walks into school independently. She is participating, completing work, building relationships, and finding success again. For some families, those things may sound ordinary. For us, after the school experiences we came from, they are enormous. The communication from her teachers has also been thoughtful, honest, and compassionate. When something is difficult, the conversation is not simply about what she did wrong. They look at what happened, what she needed in that moment, what strategies might help, and how everyone can support her moving forward. That approach has brought our family a level of peace that we did not have before. For a long time, we thought the answer was simply finding a better gifted school. It turns out what our daughter really needed was Montessori. She needed an environment like Spondeo, where her giftedness could be nurtured without sacrificing her emotional well-being, where her differences were understood instead of punished, and where she could be challenged without being forced to conform. Spondeo has been an absolute blessing to our family. Five stars honestly does not feel like enough. We cannot sing their praises loudly enough, and we are incredibly grateful that our daughter found a place where she can finally thrive as the whole child she is.

The teachers here are incredibly well-trained in nurturing and guiding kids aged 1-4, and I can see the results every day. One of the biggest milestones for us has been potty training. My daughter is getting the support she needs at school, and it's clicking! She comes home so happy and fulfilled, singing, dancing, and playing. I was initially so worried about putting her in daycare, as she was a Velcro baby and would always scream when she wasn't with me. But the environment is so warm and welcoming that she quickly became comfortable and now loves going to school. What makes this place truly special is the variety of enriching activities. My daughter helps take care of the chickens, tends the organic garden, and enjoys reading, drawing, dancing, and playing with her friends. The magic these teachers create in their classrooms is truly amazing--they know just how to care for my baby girl, and I feel so lucky to have found them. I also love how transparent and communicative the school is. I receive daily text message updates, so I always know what's going on with my daughter, which gives me so much peace of mind. The school worked with us on our budget and schedule, and I really appreciate how upfront they are with pricing and schedules on their website--no hidden surprises. Ms. Jennifer, the owner, made us feel like family from day one, and I'm so grateful for the warm, nurturing environment she's created. I honestly feel like we hit the jackpot with this preschool.
