    Edwin Jada, Owner of Pick & Move = dishonourable, disrespectful THIEF. I contacted Pick & Move to…read morehelp in Sept, to make things easy & less of a headache. They were highly rated, reasonably priced business...I was happy to support local...but EDWIN has caused me SEVERE STRESS since. They were *initially* VERY responsive via email to secure my business, seemed like genuine, kind, honest humans. There was a 30% discount. *SEEMED*-LIES. He's despicable after what has occurred. I sent a $100 deposit on Sept 20, 2024 to secure a date: Sept 28. The deposit goes toward/is deducted from my FINAL TOTAL AMOUNT. BUT WASN'T. I OVERPAID $100 (he "forgot" to remind me/let me...and who remembers that SMALL detail when they just underwent the stressful ordeal of packing and moving?? Least he could've done is remind me) & they LOST a $40 item of mine, HE AGREED TO REIMBURSE ME $140 BUT NOW OVER A MONTH & HAS NOT EVEN AFTER MANY EMAILS. Said he would on Nov. 8 but DIDN'T!!! I have proof of this all. The move happened, it was all helpful/great... although they were at least 1-2hrs LATE, & I had requested 3 movers b/c I wanted it to go faster so I could spend LESS - should have been $367.50 + 5% GST ($18.38) = $385.88...they only came with 2 movers for the 1st hour & then 3 movers for the last 2.5 hours... so I overall spent MORE than I was quoted & wanted = $425 (I rounded up the cents), which is $40 MORE THAN I SHOULD'VE FOR MY ORIGINAL QUOTE. For the extra 30 mins, he said he knew I wanted 3 but only got 2 movers, & so he said to transfer him what I thought was "Fair"...I transferred EXACT $$ based on their fees. I WAS HONEST. I WAS RESPECTFUL. UNLIKE EDWIN and Pick & Move. I contacted him Oct 5 informing him that I was missing 1 item that I KNOW his mover had taken (black coat rack, $40) - asked him to look. He said he would look (Oct 8) but couldn't find it (Oct 18). I asked for reimbursement since lost under THEIR watch (Oct 18). He AGREED (Oct 21). By Oct 30 NOTHING sent. Emailed again..No reply. Emailed AGAIN Nov 6 when I found I OVERPAID because of the deposit, so now $140 needed. HE replied Nov7 he'd send it on Nov 8. HE DIDN'T!! WHY WOULDN'T YOU JUST SEND THE E-TRANSFER RIGHT WHEN YOU SENT ME THAT EMAIL?? Make it make sense. YOU LIAR!! Now Nov28, I have emailed 8x more. PAY ME! I sent Interac REQUEST Nov 6, still unfulfilled and I have not been paid back. JUST PAY ME BACK AND BE A DECENT HUMAN!!! It's not your money to keep and I have expenses.

    I wish I could give zero stars, such poor logistics and communication surrounding my move. is it so…read moredifficult to be on time and not break things? the very reason you hire a company is so things run smoothly. would suggest everyone look elsewhere this is the most unprofessional company I have ever had this displeasure of hiring.
