Down home friendly environment. Delicious food. Burger was cooked to perfection and the wait staff was top notch.

The sandwich was plain just bread and beef. But honestly the meat was good enough it was fine. Wife had hamburger steak. Cooked perfect tasted great. Kids had cheese burgers. A bit expensive for a kids meal but great burgers. The fries were delicious. Perfectly cooked crisp on the outside and creamy inside. We also order a side of broccoli. It appeared to be fresh steamed. It was great. None of the food had much salt which is preferred for us. We added just what we wanted. The salad bar was small but good. Not much fixings for the lettuce but a large selection of pasta salads. (And each was different.) and a fruit salad too. It was a Monday so only one person working the bar and restaurant but she did ok keeping up. Would definitely eat here again

The broasted chicken was also pretty good. The fries were very soft and some of the best I've ever had. I could barely taste my toast with all the butter on it. The popcorn machine had no popcorn in it. The service was fine other than the fact that the waiter came by 5 times after I finished my cheerily temple and didn't even ask if I wanted a refill once. Good food.

Most of our food was tasty, but there were a few oddities. The side salad was fresh, and we enjoyed the warm bread with honey butter that came out before the food. The crab legs were the highlight of the meal- they came out with melted butter that had a little candle beneath to keep it warm. That being said, the 6 oz steak that came with the crab legs (surf and turf) was way overcooked. I ordered the 12oz boneless ribeye. While it was cooked medium rare like I ordered, the fat was unrendered and several pieces were very chewy as a result. It was hard to cut on a metal plate. The caramelized onions were far from being caramelized; they were under seasoned and undercooked (still crispy). There was a pile of way overcooked green beans on the plate that had no seasoning. Who uses mushy green beans as a garnish? We wanted to love our experience. Overall it was okay. The food fell flat from our expectations.

When you first walk in (Thursdays) you will be host with a strong scent of slightly rotten crab legs ::::spooky:::: . Be prepared to wait to be seated for a while as the wait staff prepares your "haunting" experience. Once seated you will be handed slightly crumpled menus with a wide selection of horrific meal options. The selection may look like a normal American restaurant menu but don't be fooled they will whip up a scary concoction. My personal favorite is the blackened pasta (my receipt said Cajun pasta so I don't know what I actually ate of the two). You will first receive a normal salad but then you will receive the most terrifyingly disgusting pasta you have ever seen. Grease soaked angle hair pasta, mushrooms that are somehow burnt, uncooked pepper strings, and a cheese sauce that has no flavor whatsoever other than the lowrys seasoned salt sprinkled on top. The plate comes with a water and grease garnish that is just immaculate. The steak was good but had a bit more seasoned salt than needed. This terror entree will set you back $22. A two course meal for one in total cost $41.43 . | * disclaimer this is sarcasm it is not a Halloween themed restaurant. It was an awful restaurant and not worth it. A frozen michelina's pasta has more and better flavor.
