A little late reviewing, but I had a really good experience here! The scheduling process online was seamless. I ended up having a conflict, and it was very easy to make an adjustment with them by calling. The stylist was helpful and accommodating. The location in Cherry Hill Village is super convenient and cute! I was able to walk there from where I live. I didn't have a wait time when I got there, I was able to be seen immediately. The stylist was really friendly and did a really good job. I felt comfortable giving her some creative control and I came out really happy with the results! The Red Head Salon is the only place I'll go to get my hair done! I've been going here for over a decade. Angie always gets my color right and answers all of my hair questions. She knows exactly what I mean when I describe a cut and if I want to make a change she knows just how to ease me into it. They are absolute artists! read more

Quick and efficient! Brittany did a great job. We were talking about what I wanted and she was able to understand where I was going with my new look. Part of me still prefers going to Aveda because I feel like I am actually getting a really good value. Here it's local/privately owned and I didn't have to pay for parking. My only issue? Someone was getting a service that was very strong and it kind of smelled like kitty litter. They can't necessarily help ventilation though. read more

I did my research on different salons in the area and I ended up choosing Red Hair Salon for its 5 star rating. I am now shocked that it got a 5 star rating. I showed the hair stylist a picture of how I wanted my highlights to look. After she was done, the highlights were dull and they didn't look anything like what I showed her in the picture. I was told it would take a few days for the highlights to brighten up. Yeah, that never happened. Nobody even noticed that I got my hair done because of how dull they looked, so I pretty much wasted a lot of money on highlights and a cut that was horribly done. Needless to say, I will not be back. read more

I decided last minute that I wanted to get my hair cut the next morning. I found this salon through Yelp and discovered they had online appointment bookings, awesome! My appointment was for 9am, they were supposed to open at 8am but when I arrived at 8:45am no one was there. A little surprising but no big deal. I went back to the car and waited another 5 minutes, I then started to see people entering so I went back and then they were open. Very friendly service and experienced hair stylist, I'm happy with the cut. I would go back for the convenience and price. I was a little disappointed with the cleanliness though, it didn't look like they had cleaned from the night before. Clumps of hair still on the floor and the rug in the sitting area was covered in food crumbs. Hopefully that was a fluke. read more

After moving to the area from out of state, it took me a while to find a salon where I was satisfied with the service. I'm so glad I found Red Head Salon and Kaitlin is great. I color my hair red and she matched it perfectly the first time she did my hair. She also does the best post-cut blow-out I've experienced in a long time. I barely have to do anything to do it the next morning except maybe a little hair spray. I tried two other salons that were rated very highly here before going to Red Head and not only was the service bad but the prices were unreasonable as well. I think the prices here are very reasonable, especially considering the great talent available. I totally recommend Kaitlin and the salon, so much better than other salons in the area! read more

Very unfriendly. My stylist is nice to me but the other stylists and especially the owner are very rude and not customer oriented at all. Never return calls My stylist is out on maternity leave right now. I called to see if she had return...no one answered and NEVER got a phone call. Angie did an amazing job with my cut. I am very picky and she listened to my likes/wants/concerns and talked through her recommendations for me. I trusted her and the cut fixed the problems from a prior bad cut at a different salon. I will definitely be returning here as my permanent salon from now on. Unfortunately my experience here was less then favorable. I saw Angie the first time I went and fell in love with my style. I scheduled another appointment with her and she had to cancel due to a double booking. She put me with another stylist and the cut was not as good. It was grown out in 2 weeks! I made another appointment online with Angie and asked that she not move me to another stylist again. She emailed me back declining me as a client, stating she is not taking any new clients. I could have gone away and not said anything, but I gave them a chance to rectify it and got no response. read more

i came here for years seeing stylist Karie, but this past month I have moved to Texas and she has moved on to a different job. i always loved coming here, i initially came just setting up an appointment looking for a new stylist and ended up being a customer for about 5 years. they have a great selection of hair products and even have little shop features selling things like clothes. overall, an excellent salon and great advice from all stylists! read more
