He never made us feel like he was in a hurry and kept suggesting we move to different locations so that he could take shots with different angles and backgrounds. I almost started to feel bad during the shoot - since he was so kind and eager for the perfect shot I almost had to remind him that our time was up! Our pictures are truly works of art and I can't wait to hang them up around the house. What a local gem. Thank you Mark!

My wife and I have 3 children and we wanted the pictures to capture their individual personality and the love that they give us. We loved his work so much that we also have another photo framed in a prominent place in our home. When you work with Kevin Kuster Photography you are getting an artist perspective behind the camera. There was a scheduling mishap, I was frustrated but didn't take it out on him. I was asking what the possibilities were and accepted there wasn't a viable solution right there and then but again frustrated about the situation. Instead of being empathetic, he was patronizing so when he asked if he should cancel my existing reservation, I said "I'll deal with it". I gathered my things and proceeded to leave. He yelled out sarcastically "I hope you have a better day". Not once did I raise my voice with him, I didn't even argue. Maybe I could have said "thank you" on my way out but I was dealing with no signal to call and coordinate the rescheduling of the session with the rest of my group (who were waiting in the car) and having to drive out of the way to get pictures done, only to be turned away. Again, didn't blame him, I was frustrated about the situation and his actions made it go from bad to worse. I have had great experiences with Alec from 2020/2021 and then Ahjay in 2022. He is the only new factor and the reason I will no longer go to this location.

After having very minor difficulty finding his studio (hint: keep your eyes peeled for his logo on the sign) we went right in and he was waiting for us. He did a nice job making our girls feel comfortable and wasted no time starting to shoot. Robb's easy going personality and fun spirit kept things light and enjoyable the entire time. He also did a wonderful job making both girls feel like little models by positively encouraging them when they were posing well and smiling. The studio itself is warm, clean, and inviting and has plenty of space with multiple backgrounds and props. We felt right at home. Getting the proofs from Robb took no time at all. In fact, it took us much longer to choose which shots to purchase because there were many possibilities! Thanks to Robb for the great service. I'm sure we'll be back to him in the near future as kids grow fast!

I was very impressed with his website and portfolio, so my fiance and I set up a meeting with him. During that meeting with Rob, we were blown away about how much he knows about photography. You could tell he has a passion for this. My fiance(now husband) wanted to book Rob right away, but I didnt want to put all our eggs in one basket right away. We met with another solo photographer who could not even compare to Rob and we met with a big box company who insulted us and really just tried to sell their "made in italy" custom books, not the photography. Rob was always prompt with getting back to me as I had a lot questions and he explained everything. Our engagement session was a blast and when I saw the proofs, they were just perfect! Before the wedding, Rob was in touch with us and suggested an alternate site for wedding pictures. When we drove by, I fell in love with it! However, due to the heat on our wedding date, we went back to the bar my fiance (husband) met at and Rob was completely on board! The week of the wedding called us and we were able to discuss day of planning and we were all on the same page! For the day of, Rob and his crew were on time and started snapping away! He was professional, but fun to work with! I can't wait to see the pictures!!!! We also used his digital photo booth which was something new as the "strips" are emailed to the parties instead of printed out. Some of the pictures I took with friends turned out okay, but some were really dark which was disappointing. Overall, his price is reasonable for the area and I always believe you get what you pay for with photography. He is passionate and knowledgeable about the industry, is easy to talk to and provides a great product.

I highly recommend Deb!…read more I live in the Chicago burbs and was looking to get professional headshots. I had a very specific look in mind, and Deb captured that look perfectly. Honestly, I was a little nervous about the whole experience, but Deb made it seamless. From scheduling online (no phone calls! a dream come true), to paying electronically, to having the opportunity to select my background and share the look I was interested in, to feeling completely comfortable during my photo shoot - it was a seamless experience with Deb. She's so friendly, warm, and accommodating that it really takes the stress out of the process. Her professional studio if in the basement of her home, which turned out just fine - I parked on the street in from of her house, rang the doorbell, went to her studio, and everything worked out well. My headshots turned out so beautifully that I made my husband get his done with Deb as well! (In my defense, his LinkedIn picture was from about a decade ago and was one of those group shots where you can tell other people were cut out of the picture - yikes!) He had no idea what he wanted and Deb helpfully guided him toward something that made sense. For someone who was not thrilled about the idea of getting headshots originally, he was quite pleased with the result and won't stop talking about how great the headshots turned out.
