Not only are the vendors fun and amazing so is the people watching. You will find something new or someone new and interesting with each visit you do to this farmers market. I've been attending the last few years, but I only go on the first night, and I know on that night, they offer a few beer options for around $5 so that you can "sip and shop" as you stroll through the aisles. Sometimes it's crowded, especially since the space isn't huge. However, it's a happy atmosphere, you get to support small local businesses, and the prices can't be beat. I always leave with at least one or two items. Because it's so centrally located, it's great to explore the rest of downtown Ballard afterwards!

When I arrived at Lenox, you simply walked up and ordered your coffee before being sat at a table. There were visible menus for the coffee options and it was easy to order. I went with the Haitian Mocha Latte and it absolutely was everything I want my coffee to be. The first sip was smooth and bold at the same time: deep, slightly earthy Haitian coffee layered with a mellow chocolate note that didn't overpower, just quietly lingered. The brown sugar softened everything, adding this warm, almost caramel-like sweetness that wrapped around the espresso instead of sitting on top of it. I don't typically get iced coffees often because I don't want my coffee watered down, but even the ice didn't stand a chance of messing up this golden cup of delight. The latte remained silky throughout the entire drinking experience. It tasted like a slow moment in the middle of a busy day--cool, comforting, and just a little bit luxurious. I can't wait to come back!

Sample size of one drink each, so take it with a grain of salt. House Green Milk Tea w/ Boba - a very basic green milk tea. Tea was slightly floral, not too sweet, and balanced with the milk. Boba was chewy but lacked flavor. Would probably skip boba here in favor of their other drinks like the einspanners. Black Sesame Einspanner - black sesame cream was smooth and the actual black sesame slowly dropped to the bottom, since grounded sesame will result in physical bits. Slightly sweet but not too much. Similar sweetness with the coffee, a solid ca phe with a perfect amount of condensed milk added to soften the bitterness. Solid drink, would love the black sesame on a tea drink because I chugged the coffee and do not need that much caffeine.
