DO NOT STORE YOUR STUFF HERE! My unit was broken into and valuable items were stolen...read all the other reviews. I wish I had. Definitely seems like the owners are in on it. It also seems like every 5th post is a review where the customer got robbed. The owner and their friends then post really short "great" reviews to skew the star rating higher. Zero stars would be more appropriate. I had a boat stored here. Well yesterday, June 2, I couldn't even get into the facility because the gate wasn't working. I contacted Red Dot today and was told it was an issue everywhere. Well I got in today and someone had broken into compartments on the boat and cut the batteries out. I'm done. I haven't even been there a month and I moved out. I filed a police report and was told that units are broken into very often there. read more

do..NOT..do it. period. regardless of how much they may say they are there to help after your stuff is gone, there is nothing that can be done. your stuff is gone. insurance may pay part of it but it pays nothing for items of sentimental value and those items of measurable monetary value, it will only pay a portion of it. no effective camera system installed at either north clarksville location which makes it very inviting for thieves, making it very easy for your unit to get broken into then not detected until either you visit your unit or the manager does during one of his one or two visits to the facility over the week. red dot has known of this issue for years and has taken no measures to actually correct it. there is a reason that red dot storage is on the ft campbell black list. read more

Smooth and seamless in regard to renting a unit and the 24 hour access is a positive aspect that allows you to go anytime which to me is a benefit ! Tho they don't have staff on-site that can be challenging if you have any problems but they are prompt to answer the phone and help deal with any hurdles. The prices are fair and the ease of payment is beneficial as well as long as you are paying with a debit or credit card which I do. I do like this facilty and have never had issues with them and it is kept clean and tidy ! read more

We have been using red-dot storage for over two years. Our payment method is automatic draft. When our credit card expiration date had expired, they did not notify us and we were locked out of the gate. They told me they had too many customers to notify people when they needed to update their credit card. Bad customer service. read more

so my boyfriend and i's RED DOT storage unit was robbed at the end of august. the red dot storage unit located on ft campbell. we paid theft insurance on this storage unit just in case anything were to happen. and of course something did happen. thousands of dollars worth of stuff was taken out of our storage unit. the storage unit was full and when we went to put more stuff inside of it we noticed our locks were changed. meaning someone took bolt cutters or something to remove our lock. is that not forced entry? red dot storage unit and their insurance company are telling us that this was not theft and can't be covered because it doesn't meet the "criteria" of theft. how? i don't know. someone changed our locks and proceeded to take everything out of it. even though countless of valuable items were stolen. oh and there's no cameras out there either. please share this and let anyone you know who has a storage unit with red dot know that if they get robbed they will not be reimbursed, even if they pay the theft insurance. oh and they're still charging us for the storage unit even though it's empty. you will be reimbursing us red dot. we are not done here. you're not gonna brush this off as if it doesn't meet the criteria for forced entry when our LOCKS WERE CHANGED. the police did another walk thru the following day and the lock that wasn't ours was GONE. MEANING THERE WAS NO LOCK ON THE UNIT THE FOLLOWING DAY WE REALIZED WE WERE ROBBED AND THE POLICE HAD ALREADY BEEN NOTIFIED. read more

The storage unit that we have used for 8 months was purchased by Red Dot at the end of 2018. It has been a confusing mess and certainly not a seamless transition for our family! We were sent a letter with new billing information. The payment had been $60 and Red Dot increased the bill to $61. We set up the withdrawal thru"billpay" at our bank as we were told that we could not pay at the facility. The docs showed that payment was mailed prior to the due date but it was not deposited until Feb 11. Red Dot did credit the late fee. A new invoice arrived and the fee raised to $63 (to cover a mailed invoice) and again last week we received a text that the payment was late. I called Red Dot on Tuesday Mar 12 and gave them the check number etc.. My bank (USAA) shows that the check was mailed on Feb 25. I sent a screenshot to RedDot. Without further communication, the unit has been locked and we have been told there is no access until Tuesday 3/19. We now are told we can pay at the site to get it unlocked. Just spoke with my bank which has stopped payment (without a fee)as they are showing the payment was mailed. I've spoken with customer service several times and they are not helpful...one said checks take a while to reach accounting and they credit for those postmarked prior to due date. In fact I considered one lady quite condescending. The company has made it obvious that they are not customer service oriented. If you need temporary storage do it through a locally owned company. read more
