You would be hard-pressed to find a better storage business anywhere. First, this business has…read morestrong continuity. I had a storage unit here for five years. The same person that rented me the unit was there every time I needed something and, five years later when I was finally able to clear the unit, he was the same one to work with me on that. That means that they know when something is out of place. The fact that it is a gated facility with security cameras is helpful but nothing can replace that human element to security. Second, the price is excellent. Though they have standard prices, remember that human element that I mentioned above. Due to my situation, they were willing to work with me on pricing and I was able to lock in a 10'x15' climate controlled unit for the same price as a larger unit because it was going to be long term. Speaking of pricing, they also let you set up automatic payments. They just charged my card every month. Oh, and there was one month where my credit card was compromised so the card was canceled. I didn't think about the storage being on there. Instead of just hitting me with a ton of fees, when the payment was declined, they called me and asked what happened. Even though I was over 20 days late on the payment, they took care of me with it. (This doesn't mean that you have an excuse to miss payments! I am just highlighting that this is an ethical business.)

The manager Denise was of great assistance during the time I needed the storage unit. Unlike other companies I called I was provided with a prorated price of no more than $30 for the three weeks I used the storage unit. Not only that but the manager was very helpful and even offered me a free lock being I did not have one. I will most likely be returning in the near future when or if I need a storage unit again.

I've been with this storage unit since 2020 and have had a horrible experience with management…read moreincompetency. I've been incorrectly overcharged for late fees and additional rent TWICE within months of notifying the company. I was told to vacate my unit after expressing my concerns and then charged for the month anyways WITH late fees already added for February. (it's 1/31) and haven't heard back from management in over a week. Management is ignoring the issues. After scrolling through other reviews, this is not an isolated incident. Keep track of all your invoices if you choose to use this company. They will scam you into paying additional rent and unnecessary fees then cover it up with each management change. I can't even go back to previous invoices with the new online system. As a veteran myself, not even living in the same state as the unit currently, it's become increasingly more difficult to make sure my things are stored properly without issue, this is completely unacceptable.

When the lady did call back the next day she was rude and unprofessional. Money wasn't the issue; for customers who come and pay for their storage months in advance they don't hesitate to swipe your card! There is a guy here in Clarksville who rents several storage units at the Summerhaven Storage…read morefacility on Tiny Town Rd. and what he does is drive around town and pick up junk from curbsides to fill his units with. Once he has enough stuff that he thinks he can use he stages one of the units to look like an abandoned storage unit that he is selling. Just like legitimate storage auctions he will not allow you to enter the room or touch any of the stuff in there because he knows what he is doing and you would likely realize you are buying garbage. He puts things like washers and dryers up front (that have no insides) and obscures your view with boxes, or riding lawnmowers near the back that he also obscures with boxes so you can't tell the engine is gone, flat screen TV boxes that look brand new just far enough inside so you can't touch it but its filled with stuff like shoes. Once he gets your money, the unit is your and he is gone. He gives you a hand written bill of sale and terms of agreement that you have to have the stuff out by a certain time or your forfeit the property and he changes the code so you can't back in the facility. Once you realize that you have been had and you attempt to contact and confront him he basically tells you to screw off because he knows he hasn't broken any laws. The Clarksville Police are aware that he is doing it but won't touch him because defrauding people that way is not technically illegal. The storage facility management is well aware that he is doing it and said that they try to warn people but they don't care either because he pays the rent for his units and although they know what he is doing is morally wrong it's not illegal so they don't do anything. He tries to pass himself off as a veteran and told one guy he was a former CID agent which usually makes them trust him.
