Aldo charged $175 for cleanup, even though I used one of his approved vendors that does the setup and clean up at $300. My event was on April 3, 2022 with no damage to the venue. The approved vendor did the setup and cleaned the venue after my event. It was inspected by Aldo's personnel, before the vendor departed. No damages were documented. Aldo did not pay me $300 for security deposit or the $175 for a cleanup that his company did not do. He owes me $475. I would suggest using another venue than The Mirror Room for events. If you do choose the Mirror Room, make sure you get a contract that's printed(not handwritten), dated and signed. Ensure $175 charge for cleanup is itemized.

I later found that I wrote it down in my notes, however he continued to repeatedly calculate the same breakdown of payments over and over. So, I agreed to let him have it since he obviously needs it more than me. The space had poor lighting, dated curtains and decor on the walls that couldn't be removed, and the air was loud whenever it came on. Additionally, Aldo also made a cameo during my event which made my guest ask "who was the weird guy with shorts on walking in randomly". This place was a last resort option because most places were booked. I do not recommend it.
