My 2007 Dodge Sprinter (German built) broke down in Nevada. It just so happened that Ty was sitting in the booth behind me in Caliente, NV at a restaurant when he heard me tell a waitress of our issue. When she left, Ty came to our table and placed his Red Desert Diesel business card in front of us, introducing himself, informing us if we came to Cedar City, UT, he could help us. We arranged for a tow truck to deliver our Sprinter the next day. Although it was delivered to his home, Ty began on Tuesday diagnosing our issue. It took several days to find and order an entire rear axle assembly that would resolve our issue, and another 10 days to have it delivered for the repair. At each step of the way, Ty was up front and transparent in what he was doing for us. Upon delivery, he began work on replacing the damaged parts on the replacement axle; cleaning out the differential, and replacing the fluid; swapping out the rusted brake rotors and calipers, with the original good rotors and calipers, completing the replacement and test driving the competed project. Although when we left for the 1,600 mile trip to Houston, TX, I was feeling a bit challenged with the concern over using the replacement axle, the trip was completed with absolutely no challenges with his work or the axle itself. We were well taken care of by Ty and I recommend his services to anyone. I guessed at the total labor cost, and was pleasantly surprised that it was within $100 of the total. I didn't want to spend as much as it cost me, but overall, I was NOT disappointed! read more
