This, then, is our store for getting the things needed to fill that goodie bag. The store is small and it's quite run down. Carbondale is not the fanciest place in Pennsylvania, but the place suffices for what we need. I must compliment the people who have waited on me at checkout. While I don't know if any of them have ever waited on me before (who could remember from one year to the next), they have always been pleasant and helpful.

The pharmacy was busy just as they are in LA and the pharmacist was just as nice or even nicer. She took my information and told me it would be ready in 20 mins, took 10 mins instead. Sweet! No five stars as the prices for meds are some of the highest out there but for service and a good pharmacist I'd recommend this place to any traveler far and wide

I had to go to the ER in Oregon before my flight because I've had an unbearable excruciating toothache. The hospital gave me 3 scripts to get filled, and I asked them if they would work since they're out of state, but I just had to make sure even though I don't think a hospital would steer anyone in the wrong direction. So I went to CVS in Carbondale first and they said that CVS in honesdale will take my New York insurance and will fill my scripts DEPENDING on the pharmacist?!?!! .. anyways, I called and they said no because it'll back up their system...... so they can but they don't want to is what he meant to say. So I called again today and they told me to come in with my scripts so I did and I almost paid out of pocket with a discount that this nice lady who was helping me use. But then as I walk away I hear someone say "Stephanie!" So I turn around and ROB said no it cannot be finalized because it's out of state. Fast forward I'm now sitting at rite aid and I explained to the pharmacist what was going on and the pharmacist said no that's not true. And they are helping me AND it's going through my insurance. Long story short ROB is so worried about his system being backed up and the inconvenience of my toothache / infection that could turn into sepsis, ROB doesn't care about you. ROB is just lazy & only cares about the work load, or lack there of, that he has to do. Thank you rite aid !

Long waiting times, could not reach anyone on the phone, and constant turnover of employees. The staff here is warm, friendly and know their products and customers.
