Don't recommend this pharmacy. Rude, disrespectful. Take forever. They need to train their employees better.

This is a relatively new Sheetz on the entrance road to the Casey Highway out of Childs, PA. We…read morewent out of our way to visit this specific gas station because Sheetz had been advertising $1.99/gallon for gasoline as a Thanksgiving promotion for "88" grade gas. Unfortunately, we still ended up paying $3.59/gallon for "87" as it was too confusing to use the pump or the pumps with the good deal were empty. Some did not offer "88" at all. Some were supposed to have "88" but had a plastic bag over the nozzle because they were empty. On our third try, we thought that we had a usable pump for the promotion, but no gas came at the promotion price. Feels like a bait-and-switch. (Note that we had successfully gotten cheap gas at a Sheetz in Louisa, VA during a different promotion).

Only one container of something that was definitely not sour cream was in the bag (we were already on the road when I realized). I'm not sure what it was (maybe just cream), so I tossed it. I also developed some minor stomach issues which fortunately held off until I was home 3 hours later. The two woman preparing the food seemed more interested in yapping than paying attention to the orders. The men's room was not very clean either. I've always been OK with Sheetz, but I also visited a Rutter's during this trip and it was much more impressive. Sheetz better figure out that they have competition.

What I am not a fan of is the behavior of one of the clerks in the store area. Given that it is Pennsylvania, there is an arbitrary limit on how much alcohol can be purchased per transaction. I knew this going in, and while it is a thing, it makes buying alcohol in stores like this somewhat frustrating. I asked the clerk behind the counter what the limit was, he told me, and I made one purchase of alcohol before getting my food, and I said to the other worker there "this is for a family member." So I made the purchase, took it out to my car, and then went to the bar area to order my food, I had one drink and an appetizer. I went back into the store to make another purchase of alcohol for a second family member, which had to be a separate purchase, and then had to make a third purchase for myself. Upon my third purchase, which is heavily annoying for everyone involved at this point, the clerk walks over attempting to intimidate me. He says "Are you planning on getting drunk tonight?" First of all, it's none of his business what customers do in their private time. Second, what if I was? Third, because of Pennsylvania's moronic liquor laws, I have to waste my time and the time of the clerk behind the counter. I said to store clerk "This is for my family. I already presented my ID, do you want to see it?" And I showed the worker my ID and he backed away. He was out of line and condescending, which was all frankly unnecessary. All of this is not a reflection on the food nor the service in the bar area. I mentioned that up top. But the clerk in the store area needs to mind his own business and respect the privacy of his customers.

I have not found this back at home in a loooong time, and here they all are, two for 7.99!!! I'm afraid they won't travel 4 hours home, even in a cooler. As we drove up another patron became aggressive with us. He claimed we almost hit him. Mind you this is a notoriously small parking lotpulled out my phone and began recording to protect my safety and the safety of my husband because this patrons behavior was so bizarre to us. My husband entered the store to make a purchase. The angry patron and I began exchanging words but we never got close to one another since he knew I was recording. Turkey hill employee Gail then comes up to my face and begins pointing at me aggressively and barking that I am not Allowed to record her even though I am well within my rights in the law to do so. I believe she did this as not to be identified. She told me to leave even while the white male patron was still berating me. Gail never once told him to stop. In fact she asked me to leave. When my husband came out of the store because he could see how aggressive she was with me. Gail immediately backed down and began walking away. Apparently she can only be tough and throw her weight around with black women. He asked me what happened and I told my husband that she asked me to leave. He called her out on her racist behavior as we were the ones being harassed by the other patron but I guess because he was a white male she instantly saw me the black female as the problem. Gail never even bothered to ask what was going on before telling me to leave. What disgusting behavior. I would never again support this business and I urge others not to if being treated fairly regardless of race is important to you.
