Great way to get around Disneyland California Adventure Park without having to walk it. A nice way to get around if your feet hurt. The trolley is just a lot of fun. Easy ride, cruise to guardians of the galaxy. Sometimes you can catch characters riding on the trolley too! How fun. I saw Minnie Mouse on the trolley last time I went!

A nod to the 1920s era when Walt Disney came to California with big dreams! Love a quick trolley ride, even if that means there are treacherous tracks in the walkway to be mindful of. Many of ankle have been sacrificed there day in and day out.

The red car trolley is to CA Adventure what the Main St vehicles are to Main St. It gives you an opportunity to ride an old fashioned trolley complete with a trolley pole that attaches to the overhead wires. The trolley makes at least 3 stops from the entrance and you can get on or off at your own discretion. I liked being able to sit inside one of these old cars and look at the advertising of the various "businesses" along Buena Vista St. It does take a bit of a wait for the trolley to leave the entrance area. The reason for this is that most of the track is single track with a passing siding and with two trolleys running they need to allow for clearance. Another thing they must do when they reach the end of a line is move the trolley pole so it can reverse direction and head back. It is a pleasant ride and enjoyed listening to them ring the bell. The first stop was at Carthay Circle which wasn't too far from where we began. The second stop was near Award Weiners which is where we decided to get off. Had we continued then the final stop would have been the Hyperion theater which would have given us easy access to Avenger's Campus. All in all it was a fun little ride and as we rode down Hollywood land I felt I was truly thrown into the land of yesteryear.

The Red Trolley Cars are a nod to the old Pacific Electric cars that were used in Southern California from the 1900s to the 1960s.

I once went here on a day trip using the Metrolink train and then used the bus route 553 (which is apparently on weekdays) to go to Disney. I find that the route was fine although there were a lot more stops to the park, and it drops you off 3 blocks away. On a weekend on Sunday, I used the ART route bus 15. I liked this route because it was only 3-4 stops and you're directly dropped off at Disneyland's bus center so it's a shorter walk to the park. I only wish the bus came at its scheduled times or were properly updated on the live route site, so you're stuck waiting longer than expected and you're unsure of when the bus will exactly come. - free parking at the lot, gates open automatically , unless event is happening across the street at Honda center - prepay adult day passes ($6 all day) online and show email to bus driver - very clean and impressively aesthetic transit center, usually empty

The station itself isn't that big with a couple of seating inside and the ticket counters to the opposite end. They do have public restrooms around the corner which is for ticket holders. Apparently you don't need a key to enter but whenever there's no one, they're alway locked. It's a pain when you have to get someone to open it, if they do. Anyway, there's maybe two attendant working at a time. Two sides of the track with a bridge the connect you to the opposite side of the tracks. They do have a good amount of trains that run along the tracks. It's pretty well organized but the only downfall, a lot of the schedule tends to run behind. I've had my train delayed a few times by half and hour and continue to go longer. Last time it was over an hour which I ended up having to get an uber to pick me up from the station in Fullerton to downtown LA. You really don't have control of the schedule and track but it's happened quite often lately. The station also has a mini station restaurant that serves food and drinks. It's right next door to the ticket station with more seating outside the patio than inside. Your typical snack shop but with hot food made to order. On the other side of the station is the bus depot. It's located in downtown Fullerton so there loads of restaurants nearby if you wanted something more substantial. The station itself is nice and well maintained with a good amount of parking. Only downfall, scheduling can be off course quite often.
