I took the Red Cab shuttle from and to the airport. Since Austrian Airlines offers this service. I decided to try it. I booked it online, and received my confirmation pretty quickly. When I landed in Vienna, I head towards the Airport Services (the company that runs it) They had my information, and I was out of the airport. When I took the return cab. The driver was early. Overall, the cab is clean and the drivers were cool. The cost is 29 Euro one way. This would be a good option. I was told if I took a local cab. It will cost more than 29 Euro. read more

I took the red cab taxi service from Vienna airport into the city, traveling with a toddler and a small child. I booked two car seats for the kids and my booking was confirmed quickly. On arrival, there was only a car seat for the toddler and the driver did not know how to install it, suggesting that it was perfectly ok for the car seat not to be installed while the toddler was traveling in it. We had an argument about this and I had to install the seat myself which took half an hour as it was an unusual model and the straps were all twisted and had to be taken out and put back in the right way. In the end the toddler traveled safely but the five year old rode into Vienna without a car seat which is illegal in Austria but the driver was not willing to obtain another seat from the office. I phoned the head office and complained but they did not feel this was a major issue and just said that this happened to be one of their less popular drivers. I am not sure why Austrian Airlines recommends this service. I would not use it again. read more

At 6:10 a.m. I called them because no taxi showed up - No body answered!! At 6:20 a.m. they called me saying that my taxi would arrive in 10 minutes. The driver forgot about me! At 6:30 a.m. the taxi hadn't arrived yet. At 6:40 a.m. I was still waiting and I called the taxi driver. He said that he was in the highway (this means that he still needed 15-20 min more). I did not miss my flight because my neighbor took his car to bring me to the airport. At 6:45 a.m. the taxi hadn't arrived yet. I called the taxi driver to let him know that his service was no longer necessary. He didn't apologize and, of course, he didn't say that he was about to arrive. I suspect that we still needed 15 mins to come. This company is not serious.
