It's actually fairly airy, despite being three separate levels since all are open to the outside. It's surrounded by Fort Totten park, several apartment complexes, and the Metropolitan Branch bike trail runs through the property. There are often deer grazing on the grass next to the platforms and around the station, which you can't say you see at the downtown stations! The transit basics: Red and Green Metro lines intersect here. There's a rumor that the Yellow line trains might once again extend here, but we'll see. It's also a bus hub with routes to dowtown, Ivy City, several destinations in PG county, and more. It's bustling during the day and quiets down at night. Since it is surrounded by the park, some might not feel comfortable walking around late at night away from the well lit areas, but I've not experienced a problem so far walking home late at night (I live about a 10 minute walk away).

Seems like they aren't prepared for taxi services. They have a rule that you must pay the cost before you go, but they use AI to send invoices. They mailed me a notice that had no invoice, no link to pay and no word on how much it costs. Sort of important things to know, doncha think? I called PT and they said they'd push my time back by an hour, and I so informed them of that. But 38 minutes after the first notice went out, I'm still waiting for an invoice telling me what I owe and how to pay it, These people may be great at the non-emergency Medical operation where you deal with appointments made far in advance. But as a taxi service, it's ridiculous. Complaining that it was short notice means to me you can't handle what you say you do. And any company who bills with AI is flirting with disaster. What would it cost them to have on-call drivers, or an actual human being doing the billing? More than these folks are willing to pay! It will be Uber next time despite the huge prices they charge. I wouldn't have had this run around with them!

I did and like another reviewer, the minute Ossie knew I had a coupon he tried to pressure me to pay full price if i wanted to ensure I git a 6 person limo versus an SUV. I politely declined and said I did not buy a coupon to not use it to try his business. Actually he never admitted he was Ossie in my first conversation with him. told me to book thru the website (even though we were on the phone, he did not have time to do phone booking he said) and put my living social number in the remarks section. so i did. I had a message from them a day or two later saying they would call me. they never did, so I called them a few days later when i went online and saw i could still book for the same time i had already reserved!! Ossie then told me (without telling me he was ossie) not to worry. I said how can you say you can come with the same driver Ossie Pierce when you still are allowing others to book with him? He said we have nationwide coverage dont worry. he made NO SENSE. especially considering that i later found out he was Ossie Pierce himself! I too got a confirmation the day of my appointment but when he was 15 minutes late I called and Ossie (this is the first time he identified that he was Ossie) said oh I cancelled your appointment because you hung up on me the other day. I said I did not hang up on you, I explicitly told you I was NOT canceling (he kept pressuring me to cancel). He wanted my security code on my credit card number that he already had - I said why do you need that? you have my living social number and I plan to pay a good tip in cash for the driver as we are celebrating a milestone birthday. anyways I said we were all waiting could he still come. he said no i cancelled you (never said he had another customer or where all his backup drivers were). tell it to living social he said. WELL. dont ever ever use this unscrupulous business. any good reviews are totally bogus I am sure. and please why do unscrupulous businesses offer living social deals and then complain to the customer about "oh i make no money on these deals" ?

Original Review: I rented a bike that didn't properly dock at the end of my ride. As a first time user and a tourist, I didn't have any experience with renting a bike. I had no idea it wasn't docked correctly. I pulled on it, and it was locked in place, so I assumed I was good. However, I noticed a notification through the app the next morning that said the timer on my ride was still running. I called customer service, and even after I called, the timer kept running. I was charged $24 for a two hour ride. Customer service would not work with me at all. I do not recommend renting a bike through this company unless you are with someone experienced. Some of their kiosks weren't working at all, and it was my word against theirs that I even docked the bike. No way I could win that one. Terrible experience with customer service!
