Great emergency care oof our Ram Promaster 1500. Our vehicle had 5 warning lights on. We had just taken it to another dealership for oil change, 5 tire balance and rotation, parking brake check, and had requested full brake check and alignment. We had been driving for about an hour on the beginning of a road trip when the warning lights came on. We called Red Bluff as they were the closest dealership. They looked at the vehicle quickly, showed us in person and with photos exactly what they could immediately see was a problem with the brakes. They worked on the vehicle that day and the next and we were on the road the next day. They carefully explained everything and kept on with the excellent diagnostics throughout and repaired everything they could. They made recommendations for the next service at our final destination as well as yearly recommendations for our vehicle. read more

So Monday August 19th, the service manager "SY" decided to come out and tell me "Since nothing we do pleases you, please do not come back" MY PLEASURE. First time in, weeks after purchasing my car from Corning ford the sister site of Dodge. To get my stop start battery replaced and the wheel hub thing reprogramed. That was a fight as they said that the extended warranty would have to cover it and they wouldn't when it should have been paid for from the purchase of the car being only a week or so. Complaints after getting car back: GREASE all over my new vehicles headliner. Trim in back of car was not secure, seat belt clip trim broken. Key fobs would not work. Rubber seal on back hatch broken and not put back correctly. See photo's Second time in...... The service manager at the time Noa assured me he was going to reset the fobs, and CLEAN the mess they made up. Complaints after getting it back: GREASE STILL on headliner, floor matts covered in dirt, clips for seat belt trim STILL broken. Rubber bulb seal still broken and not installed correctly. SEE photos. Third time in......Coolant Reservoir leaking. Ely did a GREAT JOB. NO COMPLAINTS. Husbands new car now. First time in backup camera was changed from full screen during an auto body shop repair, and now it also has backup lines. We were told nothing was wrong with it. Complaint: Nothing was done even though we have photos of what it used to look like and emailed that photo to Ashley when she worked there. Second time in.... Water pump out, ELY again did a great job. After a small learning issue about the deductible of the warranty on car purchased from Corning ford.   Complaint: The backup camera was still not addressed correctly. They know it is not normal and passed the buck onto us to call the stereo manufacturer to finish the job and figuring out a setting or something. Third time in: Battery was put in at Corning Ford complimentary after purchase as the car battery died within months. So back and forth with Corning ford and red Bluff dodge. Complaint: Had the CORRECT battery for stop/ start cars was installed in the first place by ford then the battery would not have had to be replaced. however the battery states warranty void if installed on stop/start vehicle. Ours is stop/start so the battery did not last at all. Even the tech that put the battery in did NOT put the felt cover back over the battery and I stopped him and said something.  Last words: If my vehicle was treated like it was yours and not left in such a bad way I would have NOTHING to bitch about!!!!!! END OF STORY.   Owner posted a reply to my review on google saying reach out to us via text or whatever but left no person to contact. read more

I've been shopping around for a new Jeep and found one I was interested in at Red Bluff Dodge Jeep. When I went to look at it I found that the folks that work there were all very straightforward and honest with me (kind of a rare thing when dealing with car dealerships). They had no dealer mark up and didn't try to push any extra add on crap onto the deal - pretty honest and straightforward purchasing experience. My salesman, Erick, and the finance manager Alex were both extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help me. I actually met the General Manager (he was there on his day off) and he was extremely easy to speak to and deal with - another rarity in the car dealership business models out there. I'd wholeheartedly endorse Red Bluff Dodge Jeep and encourage anyone shopping around for a new or used vehicle to give them a chance to earn your business - I'm sure that you'll be glad you did. read more

getting your car serviced there will cost you more when you leave. Horrible customer service. SY (in service) took my truck refused to give me a rental or arrange for warranty work (for 4 days) told me if I needed any necessities I "could Instacart it." I'd been having some rubbing on my wheels (when I turned sharply and couldn't figure it out) so I took it to another dealership who told me RB dodge accessed that part of my wheel well and either didn't replace them or broke them. now RB dodge Sy saying he wouldn't have charged me. But as before I didn't want to be out my truck for 4 days waiting on a rental. Worst customer service ever. 0/0 don't take any vehicle there. read more

Took my truck in to get serviced. I waited in the customer lounge. 5 hours later, I get my truck back only to find that I had something stolen out of my truck! When I told the service manager, in-person he was trying to be helpful. After he helped me search my truck and after talking to some of his service guys, I didn't get my property back. When we called the next day, he was more intent on defending his guys than helping me recover my property...he did nothing for the reputation of this dealership because my trust is lost and I will never go back and I hope no one else does either. I filed a police report with the police department. read more

Hauling horses from Oregon to California my truck was 100 miles from limp mode and after calling dealerships in Redding and Corning I found Red Bluff Dodge. I called them and they had me come right in. They immediately came out to diagnose the problem and after a few minutes knew what was wrong. They had the parts and made time. I so appreciate the amazing, chivalrous, professional service I received from these two helpful men in the service department, thank you !!! read more

Drove 5 hrs and wasted $100 in gas to look at an F150 that was listed by this dealer. After multiple phone conversations and texts I made the mistake of trusting OMAR to be honest with me about the trucks condition. Not only did he misrepresent it's condition but he outright lied in response to specific questions about specific aspects of truck. This is the first time in my life I have felt the need to warn anybody on Yelp, but that is exactly what I am here for now. Do not trust anything Omar says. He's out for commission and that's it. If this is how he treats me, a proud and decorated Disabled Veteran, just imagine what lies he'd tell to take your money! Absolutely Unexcuseable. read more

Joe was a huge help. HUGE! Took time. A lot of time, literally went above and beyond and dealing with me and my needs. Yes. I was needy. Helping my brother get a truck. He Just retired from the Military. He asked and ran around and did all He could. At the end of the day, Christian hung up on me while asking questions. He didn't know how to apply the Control Number to my incentive. You can tell the kid hasn't worked much in his life. I am sure the position in that store was given. Not earned. End result. We didn't buy. But Joe was a pleasure to work with. And who knows. Maybe my Brother will go buy it because it is the truck he wants and Joe worked hard for him. Can't say the same for Christian. So yes. I gave the store 5 stars. Because one spoon fed kid working under his families wing doesn't represent the store. Joe does, at thats who you should see for 5 Star Attention. read more

This dealership should really have their own reality show... polite, comical, helpful, passionate are just a few words that describe Bobby, Jimmy and Travis. First, they helped my son become a first time auto owner... Bobby found him a lightly preowned Jeep Compass Sport... (looks like a smaller version of a Grand Cherokee) low miles, strong stance, it's a 2018 and looks / feels brand new! Bobby was fun to work with and his creative options helped my son find an awesome vehicle he can afford. Big shout out to Jimmy who worked with us to find the best finance options available and helped us with a generous trade-in offer. Next there's Travis... this guy looks serious, acts serious and has a subtle and yet comical sense of humor. Amazing experience, they made us feel at home and Red Bluff Dodge & Ram really cares about their customers. Lastly, I recently had my 2500 Ram Promaster serviced there. The scheduling staff were pleasant and accommodating. You get what you pay for here... sure the service costs a little more than those mini express tuneup shops, but they went the extra mile and spent a good amount of time on my oil change. A to Z, Red Bluff Dodge & Ram has earned our trust. Thanks again Bobby for being our first contact. I look forward to working with you on my next Ram 2500 truck purchase. - Joe read more

Service department is a joke. I took my truck in to diagnose why the low coolant light keeps coming on and loosing coolant. They said they pressure tested the system and said it was good. Still have the same problem, they want to charge me another diagnostic fee for the same issue they didn't diagnose the first time. They also performed recalls, to collect money from the corporation, without my consent or knowledge. Dont go here, they need to be put out of business. This is not the first time with this place. read more

You would probably want to go to a dealership service rather than those sketchy assss oil change place. The ironic part is you are just good as going to those places if you go to this dealership. There's nothing special about this place. Customer service sucks. They'll go in your car with their greasy self and it'll go all over your interior. They actually manage to fvck my tinted windows as well. The wait time is ridiculous. But wait there's more, spilled oil under the hood. It was horrible. And half asss wash the car. I therefore conclude that this place to me is now the worse I've seen. read more

I took my truck here to have some simple electrical work done. While there, they called me to say that my rack & pinion needed replacement. I moronically let them complete that service, paid for expedited parts shipping and ended up getting my truck back at the the non-expedited time. When I got my truck back, I had a new issue that wasn't there when I gave it to them. If it had been there, they would have asked to fix it too... You just can't trust these places anymore!!! Worst dealership around. Go anywhere but here. They lie and cheat to get a deal. Pathetic work staff. They fired the Internet and fleet manager nearly a year ago and still use his name, previous title and personal phone number on the computer generated email to the customer because they can't figure out how to change it. The "new" sales manager also gets a notification with customer information. Maybe they would figure out how to change the format to have his name on it if it wasn't a Hispanic name. Red Bluff is part of the northern California "red zone". Maybe the former sales manager should be getting half of "Erick Garcia's" deals if the sale was first hooked by his sales letter. Maybe the mothership, Corning Ford, Internet guy can help them out. Otherwise, maybe an attorney can send the manager or possibly the owner, Benny Brown, can explain lies and fraud since June 2023 which continue today. read more

Brandon in sales took an otherwise long, drawn out deal with my upfitted 5500 and whipped it into shape within a matter of hours. He showed the utmost respect for my time, asked for all the relevant info, and was transparent in our interactions and negotiations. As promised the deal was ready on his desk with no last minute shenanigans...after driving almost 4 hours to pickup- I was pleased to find that Brandon was all business. Within 30 minutes or so I was transferring my belongings to my new truck and driving off. As a general contractor my job is to get things done-no messing around. I appreciate that I was met with a salesmen at red bluff dodge who shares a similar value in our work ethic, respect for clients, and their customer service experience. Sorry that is a different department, and they are really busy. Well tell me that over the phone and I will not drive an hour just for an oil change. In the past two years I have purchased an 80k 2500 and a 90k hellcat Redeye from Red Bluff Dodge! Both Vehicles have had major fuel system failures! The Ram before 8000 miles!!! And the Redeye is in the shop now with fuel injector failure at 16k. I dropped off my car Friday morning. they told me the car would be repaired and ready for pick up Monday. I go all day Monday with no phone call. I called them this morning and they informed me they are having a part issue and I will not get my car back for at least a week. They chose not to notify me even though they knew my car would not be ready. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that they just needed a little bit more time. Between my truck being there before and my car being there now they will have had my vehicles in excess of over Three months. Not to mention the lady in the service department was overall rude! The customer Service was a huge disappointment. She kept me on hold for almost 8 minutes.. I will never purchase a vehicle from this place again!! Written by my husband who doesn't do social media but felt this needed to be known by community members : One star experience We are writing this in hopes of saving another family this headache... My wife and I went in to Red bluff Dodge In hopes of upgrading our current car to a larger vehicle for our growing family. We started by negotiating a price out the door after taxes and fees with sales associate Jeff ( we had already decided on vehicle and base price via eprice on their website). Eventually the price and terms were written on a blank piece of 8.5x11 paper. With the price we wanted and confirmed by the sales team we then stated that we would like to offer a trade in for our current vehicle. After we negotiated a price (I will add here they gave us a fair price on our trade in) for our trade in we then informed Jeff that we would also like to put cash down on top of the whole deal. Jeff said not a problem. He Confirmed our terms with his team and our original out the door price (even wrote OTD with the amount we had negotiated on the paper). At this time he also wrote down the APR and the number of months we would have a payment. We were off to Robert in financing. After examining the printed document we noticed the numbers weren't right somewhere. They called our sales consultant Jeff back in and he proceeded to get heated and defensive where he was then quickly asked to leave by Robert for a little bit. This should have been a sign to us that this establishment had some incompetent methods going on. They couldn't even have their sales person who made the deal with us stay in the room to help us understand better why the numbers weren't reflecting our deal. Robert then noticed a fee that wasnt supposed to be there (truck tire fee I believe) and removed this fee and re printed the document he then explained numbers the best he could to us. After about 20 mins and lots of adding on our calculators we thought we were on the same page again and figured out what was going on. (In hind sight we should have left at this moment too much had happened that began to erode our trust at this point). All Documents were signed and we drove off of the lot. Still uneasy about something I looked at our copies again as we got hom. To my dismay I realized that the out the door price that was agreed upon in negotiations after taxes and fees was $1550 more then our original written down OTD offer. They were closed the time we arrived home so I called the next day as soon as I triple checked that I was correct. I called back the next day and spoke to Jeff ( sales ) who confirmed our out the door price after taxes and fees. I was then transferred to Robert (finance) who looked at the written negotiations paper I initialed on . He sent me a copy ( one side at least). I pointed out that the out the door price doesnt match the signed document he produced for us to sign the night before. He proceeded to get defensive and say that it was exactly the complete deal written on the paper. This was not the case. Not only was the out the door price after taxes and fees different on the paper then our final copies the interest rate and term were completely different then the ones we signed to. In the end nothing was done right. We ended up paying $1550 more then our agreement and our interest rate and term were changed. We decided to share our story in hopes that others have a fair warning before doing business with them. We are able to recoup from this lascivious act. We know other Families who have to bring children to make a deal may get preyed upon as we did and we wanted to share our ridiculous experience to help others be aware. Leave the kids at home and take all the time to go over everything because they will take advantage of you while you try and tend to your children. They shuffle papers through hoping we dont catch their deceiving acts. We are very disappointed in our experience and will obviously be letting people in our community know about the transaction that happened to us. We have always had a great experience at Corning Ford. We chose to go closer to home this time but after our experience, Corning is worth the drive. read more

Our family bought our newest ranch truck, a Ram 3500 Laramie, and absolutely love it, but that's not why I am writing this review. Today (Saturday) as we were packing up the truck to go for a hike, my dog locked himself and his sister in the car. The spare key was with another family member, over an hour away, and the sun was quickly heating up the cab. We couldn't get a tow truck or locksmith there fast enough, so I called the dealership to find out what the cheapest window would be to break, and before I knew it Bob, the GM of the dealership was on his way to the ranch with a slimjim to unlock the truck. Not only did he save me from breaking a window on our brand new truck, he saved our dogs, and didn't even charge us. Oh, and did I mention it was Saturday? I would recommend Red Bluff Dodge to anyone. It's true what they say about small town service. read more

Steve Birdsong will promise you the moon but falls short on the delivery of those promises. We traded in two nice vehicles. We asked that the custom wheels/tires be pulled from one of the trades and put on the new vehicle. We would give them the brand new wheels/tires to put on the trade. We were told no problem and the fit would work. The next day they called hassling us that the new wheels/tires wouldn't fit on the older truck we were trading. We called another tire shop and they said it would work. The dealer told us its too late that our trade was sold. We didn't back down. We told them it was on the due bill which they tried leaving that off at signing but we made sure it was in writing. The manager seemed shocked we had a due bill. Almost like they never intended on holding up their end of that promise. We made multiple trips and calls to get our tires and a few other add ons to the new truck done. They could have better planned this out. Felt like they were trying to screw us over big time. Icing on the cake...the truck that we traded that the new wheels would not fit according to everyone at Red Bluff Dodge is on a lot with the brand new wheels and tires from the truck we purchased. Big fat liars they are! Would never do business with them again! Lying to customers is shady and wrong! They dont even deserve the one star rating! read more

Took my truck in for a electrical diagnostic, needed a new battery. Total $283.05. When I dropped my truck off the AC worked, when I picked it up the AC did not work. I took it back and explained the situation, they denied any responsibility and would not even look at it to see if their technician may have inadvertently disconnected something. They wanted to charge me $120 just to look. Unless I miss my guess technician are human and humans can make mistakes but they wouldn't even look with out a $120 fee. This place is a clip joint with 0 customer service that is only interested in profit. My AC still is not working and I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. 0 stars. read more

We were greeted by steve birdsong, I told him we were there to look at the gladiators and to place an order for a diesel one. The whole time he kept trying to sell us a gladiator off the lot. I kept telling him we wanted to order because they didn't have exactly what we wanted. We milled around and made small talk for awhile being friendly and chatting. Still he is trying to sell me one off the lot. He asked if I wanted to test drive the diesel gladiator they had I said no, I was just ready to place an order. He changes the subject talks a little more then all of a sudden he gets the gladiator on the lot ready for a test drive after I told him no, Im ready to go place an order. In order to be kind and appease him I took it for a test drive. Came back and he finally let me place an order. Took all my contact info, all my build specs. He wrote it all down on a notepad and at the end he said oh someone will contact you tomorrow to finalize the order and finishing placing it. After all that time nearly an hour, I didn't even get to place the order after I drove 50 miles to the dealership. We even called ahead to confirm an order could be placed that day and that we were 60 minutes away. Fast forward to the next day I never received a call about finalizing my order. Called the dealer and they said they had no record of anything for me and that there was no record of any order with steve. read more

I recommend avoiding this dealership, in particular their service department. They advertise on their Web site that they offer an Express Lane for service, such as an oil change. I travel a lot and have used the Express Lane at Jeep dealers across the country, and the way it works is you just show up for a quick oil change -- first come, first serve. But it's a different story at Red Bluff Chrysler Dodge Jeep. When I showed up first thing in the morning, they insisted I needed an appointment. Now, I can certainly understand their desire to book appointments, but if that is how they want to operate then they shouldn't advertise that they offer an Express Lane. They don't. In my experience, this dealer does not adhere to truth in advertising, and I suggest that attitude may prevail to other departments, such as sales. In my case, I called a Jeep dealer down the freeway, and they said sure, come on in, you don't need an appointment, we have an Express Lane. Don't waste your time at Red Bluff Chrysler Dodge Jeep. read more

Trust all the negative reviews on here about the Service Center. Drive to Redding or Chico instead. Dodge makes a great truck. They shouldn't let their brand be represented by a sleezy, dishonest service center like this. I could go into details about my experience, but it's similar to all the other negative reviews on here. They did poor initial work that didn't fix the problem and when I tried to discuss it with them the service manager was unprofessional, unhelpful and only interested in denying responsibility and charging more money. Life is too short to waste time arguing with someone that dishonest. I took the truck to Chico paid for the same work to be done a second time, and they actually fixed the problem. I felt like I needed to take a shower after interacting with the sleeze balls that work at the Red Bluff Dodge Service Center. read more

Spent almost $40k on a new vehicle. The purchase experience was just fine. A little pressure, but I expect that. Took it in for my first oil change and asked them to activate a backup camera I installed. They quoted me $74 to plug in their computer and activate the camera. I reminded them I already spent almost $40k and asked if there was a discount. The service adviser talked to the manager. They offered $7 off. They want to charge at a rate of over $400 and hour. To plug into my ODB port. For less than 10 minutes. Their service department sucks. Forgot to mention, I drove to Red Bluff to buy my vehicle. I'm still in the middle of my purchase. I ordered a car. I chose this dealership after many recommendations. I have to say I am very disappointed in the lack of communication from both the salesman and the man that handles special orders. All contacts to get up dates have been initiated by me. It took 2 weeks for the salesman to get back to me. I really thought I would have a great experience with the dealership but I feel like customer service is horrible. Going to rethink having service done here. Can't say I would recommend them. I had better customer service with the Redding Dodge dealership. I got all my questions answered by the salesman THAT KNEW I WAS NOT QUITE READY TO ORDER. Only reason I did go with them is because salesman said he couldn't give me a final price on the vehicle when ordering. I now which I was giving them a second shot at my business. read more

We were only halfway through our 600 mile drive when the oil light came on in our borrowed Dodge camper... oh no! We pulled off I-5 at the next exit and what did we find? The Red Bluff Dodge dealership! But it was only 7:45am... would they be open? Would they have time to help us look for potential leaks or other issues? Indeed. They had a tech at our side immediately who gave the camper a thorough check. This was in spite of being very busy with customers dropping off vehicles and arriving for the Cowboy Breakfast event they were hosting. Our tech deemed that we were a quart low with no leaks... yay!
