We had a unit there for about 8 years due to a loss of a relative and "complications" that came…read moreafterward. For that time we received phone calls and letters notifying us when a payment was behind (single low-income), to which we scrapped what we could to pay it. We had limited access to the unit, the few times that we were allowed to go out and check it, our stuff had been moved around - only one relative had access to the unit and they worked all the time. One day, we went to go make a payment only to be told that our unit was gone. They claimed that they had sold it and tried to reach out but couldn't reach us - which is odd considering our phone numbers and address hadn't changed. We asked for proof, receipts, anything to give us a little closer, to which the staff was rude about and refused to provide anything. We suspect that our unit may have been stolen from, we feel like it disappeared under suspicious circumstances but there is nothing that we can do. Please be careful if using Carlson Space Place, I'd hate for this to happen to anyone else.

I had my RV broken into recently while there and on a separate occasion the battery cables were cut and the battery stolen. They seem to not care about their customers and you will have to break your back trying to get them to respond to anything. I had to go to Houston to their (owner?) - Premium Spaces- to even get a partial refund.
