The Boston Creme pie was scrumptious! with a dark chocolate generously drizzled on top. The potato salad was the best I've ever tasted. The amazing decorations including the multitude of chandeliers & brilliant color schemes must be seen to be believed. Negative: Server would disappear for 15 or 20 minutes after bringing water; then disappear for another 15 minutes after bringing coffee; ditto for serving the meal which arrived one hour & 15 minutes after we sat down at our table at 11 am; same for dessert--it took 20 minutes after we finished the main course for the server to return & bring our checks. We only had six people in our own fabulous pink room. There were only 5 or 6 people out front so why did it take 3 hours to be served our lunch & to leave from the time we arrived at 11 am & didn't get to leave until 1:30 pm. Three hours to get our meal & eat was an incredibly long period of time. It was freezing in there--the room temperature was zero.

Service from the lady today....was beyond horrible. 5 of us ordering sandwiches and desert - hoe long were we here? 2 1/2 hrs. It was terrible and this lady was beyond terrible. B. The place costs enough for what you're getting. A Rueben for $17....and it isn't that big or that much meat. If I'm honest: If you want a tea room option, that gives you great food, tremendous deserts and at a real value: Spring Creek tea room in Ozark. A second option, that costs a little, but the food and deserts are awesome: Beth's Bake Shop in Spfd.

Wow. Horrible experience. Not a customer in the entire restaurant but we waited and waited for…read moresomeone to come out of the kitchen to greet us. "Just sit anywhere ya want". No hello, no menu. Waited and waited again for the waitress to come back with menus. Tea selection at this TEA ROOM didn't even offer English tea, just cheap bags of artificially flavored tea. Teacups were brought out without saucers (so where would I put my used tea bag?). The chicken salad was ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. boiled to death to a paste consistency, terrible texture unless you enjoy cat food. Over seasoned with herbs to disguise the Purina pate flavor. But I did get a HUGE pile of cheap potato chips and yesterday's croissant. My mother ordered the chicken Florentine soup. Ha. The broth was actually very good, but the same shredded, mushy chicken bits plus instant rice and a couple of whole spinach leaves thrown in did not come together for a pleasing soup. The spinach 4 cheese quiche was tasteless with just an ok crust. I took two bites of my chicken salad sandwich and realized I just couldn't stomach it. I was hoping to make another selection but the waitress never came back to the table. Ever. We decided to just leave so we stood by the kitchen doors for approximately 8-10 minutes until the waitress finally made an appearance. She asked "Was everything ok?" I told her" no. The chicken was inedible. I left nearly the entire dish." She turned towards the cash register and curtly said "Sorry to hear that" and without looking up continued to run the bill. Then the snotty "Have a Nice Day" topped it off. NEVER AGAIN
