The employees are friendly. The lines move quickly & efficiently. After the weighing of the materials, one receives their cash refund in the office. Consumers pay California Redemption Value (CRV) when they purchase beverages from a retailer. The beverage container recycling program was created in 1986. Refunds are now by weight of the materials, instead of by the size of a container, as the Assembly Bill originally called for. The program includes aluminum cans and glass & plastic bottles. Check the label to see if a container is eligible for CRV, as some beverage containers are not eligible (milk, food, wine, spirits, etc.). The container will say CA Redemption Value, California Cash Refund, CA CRV or CA Cash Refund. A-1 Metals also sells salvaged used auto parts.

I waited a week hoping that I might feel better about the job they did, but every time I look at…read morethe way they hacked up the trees in my front yard I feel rage and sadness. We had 3 large Liquidambar trees in the front yard. My husband asked that they trim branches away from the street light/ power lines, and that they trim some of the lower branches. They cut and cut and cut. When I asked why they cut so much, I got told "your husband told us too". No, he didn't. Now I have what looks like 3 phone poles with some stuff on top. My shade is gone. The trees look like crap. And everyone at the company just told me, "don't worry, it will grow back". No it won't. Branches are gone. My father was in the nursery business for 50 years, he's never seen anything like it. It looks BAD. If you decide to have them do any work besides cutting a tree down, watch and approve of every cut.
