She helped my wife coordinate EVERYTHING, thought of things we would never think of and helped coordinate it all. And very reasonably priced! She is great and has amazing contacts that were very accommodating. We'd recommend her to anyone!

And after we had our wedding, our guest did nothing but rave about how fun, unique and perfect the reception was. But just having a reception at RTM is not what I'd recommend it. It was so much more. It was having the incredible variety of foods - we had cheesesteaks, DiNic's roast pork, Chinese food, a salad bar, poutine and corn dogs, grilled cheese from Meltkraft, the list goes on. It was having a historic and unique setting that was transformed into a beautiful evening even with string lights, candles, table clothes, decorations and provided an ambiance it'd be impossible to replicate anywhere else. It was the servers who attended to our guests every need, kept the party going, the room clean and the people happy. It was every little touch that the planning team executed perfectly for us, that all happened without us realizing it, without any reminders or questions. The planning team at All About Events were the true heroes of the night - and in fact, the whole planning process. We met with them about 15 months before our wedding, and Christina, Stevie and Liam made sure that everything was easy, fun and exciting. Christina's emails to us were always clear and thorough, addressing every little question I had asked, and pointing out tiny things I never would have thought of. Stevie's communication with our vendors was so appreciated, including our Mummers and DJ! And every time we met with them, the meetings were exciting, joyful. Their personalities and kindness and caring for us and our events just SHONE. We could not recommend RTM and AAE more. They are a truly wonderful team, and a gem in the Philadelphia wedding scene. I hope that we get to go to another event at the market soon, and we will certainly keep them in mind for our 10th anniversary vow renewal!!!!

I e-mailed a few people, and Melissa was the first one to get back to me. We were married in July 2011 and worked extensively with Melissa and her assistant Katie. At our first meeting I was unsure if a wedding planner was really necessary. We live in Maryland and were having our wedding near my family in Lancaster County. After we spoke with Melissa and Katie it was clear we needed a wedding planner. We didn't quite realize everything that went into planning a wedding, and were confident that they were the people to help us. Melissa helped us find a venue and all of our vendors. She also negotiated between us and the vendors and negotiated our contracts. Trust me- you need Melissa. The last thing you want to do is negotiate contracts before your big day. Since we live out of state Melissa also gave us a few suggestions for vendors and coordinated meetings. We wanted vendors who loved their job and were good at it, and Melissa found us those people. We never would have found those quality vendors if we hadn't been working with Melissa. She also helped us find vendors that were better and cheaper than the most expensive vendors. She knew exactly where to go from flowers to cake to buying a dress to getting the dress altered! Melissa and Katie made the lead up to the wedding and the wedding day run smoothly. Her and Katie answered e-mails quickly and they received many e-mails from me regarding anxieties about the big day and our plans. They made sure our wedding day was stress free. We had such a great time that we are ready to do it all over again next year. I would recommend working with Melissa for a small wedding to a big wedding to an upcoming event. She knows the right people, and is good at what she does.

By the day of the wedding, we had so much trust in her that we could rest assured knowing everything would be okay - it freed us up to just enjoy our day without anxiety about logistics - we knew we could count on Melissa. She truly cares about the weddings she plans and the couples she works with. She knows and has good relationships with top-notch local vendors, which is super helpful throughout the planning process. She also is a strong advocate for her couples and is really skilled at resolving any issues that come up with vendors. She is very detail oriented, punctual, practical, and on top of her emails and deadlines. She is also a really gentle, sweet person who is an absolute joy to work with. Melissa is a really calming presence too and was very supportive throughout our wedding planning process. She really got to know us and was able to give ideas/suggestions that we loved for our wedding that matched our personalities and preferences. During the week leading up to our wedding, we had an unforeseen change of plans and Melissa communicated with all of our vendors, reorganized our wedding timeline and worked this out with all of vendors, all basically behind the scenes to us and with no added stress on our part. Everything she coordinated and planned was taken care of - nothing fell through the cracks. If you're an anxious couple or tend to worry about worst-case scenarios, Melissa and Stylish Occasions is perfect for you - working with her and knowing the type of person she is will remove all this anxiety. We planned our wedding from out of state and she was super flexible with doing teleconferences with us and vendors when needed instead of meetings. She also helped us figure out which meetings were truly important to do in person. She helped us navigate innumerable wedding decisions and weighed in with her extensive experience when we weren't sure what to do. The best decision we made without a doubt was to hire Melissa as our planner. There is no way we could've had the wedding we did without her expertise and help. We are so incredibly grateful to her and are so thankful we got to know her. She's an excellent planner and a beautiful person to know.

Briana went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and were making the right decisions for us, every step of the way. She was such an amazing advocate with vendors and especially with our venue, which had terrible communication and practices. Briana was always available to text or call or email, had recommendations for vendors, and spent a great 90 minutes planning with us in person, which she then spent who knows how many hours developing a timeline and contact info docs etc. included in our package technically, was : in person Introduction, unlimited communications online or via phone, walk through of the venue, in person consultation closer to the date, final walk through, rehearsal and full day of coordination with an associate. OUTSTANDING especially given the veryyyyy reasonable pricing, especially for the city. Briana made me feel so valued as a bride, and so comfortable. Going so far as to make sure we had alone time post-ceremony (with cold beverages in hand!), connecting with all family members involved in the ceremony and reception, giving cues, fixing my broken jumpsuit late-night, and cleaning up like a champ. I can't even imagine all the effort she put in behind the scenes, and I am so grateful to have chosen Briana at the bridal concierge! A million thank yous from me and my husband!

I had always wanted to stop in and luckily I had an excuse when I saw they were listed on the the Art Loop earlier this month. I'm a big fan of the Wilmington Art Loop and rarely miss one. I must say though I was shocked to see a $20 entry for the privilege of paying a cash bar and a few finger bites. So, if my wife and I pay the $20 a head cover and each order a bottle of Yeungling it's $52? I don't care how rich you are, you need a hole in your head to pay $52 for two bottles of Miller's Lite. Was this money going to a charity or strictly for profit? I'm not going to begrudge a private club having whatever type of event they want. I am asking though please don't associate your organization with the Art Loop, a traditionally free and fun mingling of the community, if you're going to charge a cover that goes beyond even what a local club would charge on a Saturday while a band is playing. Art was alright, typical of what you would see in a downtown office building. Local landmarks and landscapes. You could actually go to the Brandywine Museum of Art and see some Andrew Wyeth for less than the price of admission here. Even better the Delaware Art Museum only charges $25 for two adults and four children and both of those have a lot more than the dozen work we saw hanging here.
