I was blown away during our visit. This is the kind of doctor I imagine everyone wishes they could find. Dr. Ramadan is not only very personable and funny, but he took the time (late on a Friday no less!) to thoroughly explain what was happening and why, as well as explain treatment options. He was patient, answered our questions, and we did not feel in the least bit rushed or dismissed. He does a great job with explaining what is happening (with the bones, alignment, pain, etc.) - I felt like I got a whole education on feet during a single visit! My SO and I went because he has had extreme foot pain for about 5 years. We went to a different podiatrist before finding Dr. Ramadan, and were basically told the problem (plantar fasciitis/collapsed arches) will only get progressively worse - we can only find ways to manage the condition and pain - which is devastating news for someone who is only 26 and needs to be on their feet for work all day, anywhere from 50 to 80 hours per week. After meeting with Dr. Ramadan, I felt much more confident and reassured that we can actually work to correct the underlying issues causing the pain. Best podiatrist and foot surgeon in CT! I have been a patient of Dr. Ned's for over a year now and I have never met a doctor who cares more about his patients. He does a thorough exam and takes the time to answer as many questions as you have, no matter how busy his schedule is and you never feel as though you are being rushed out of the exam room. Because he is very experienced in his field, he is excellent at explaining whatever medical condition you may have. If you are in need of a foot doctor, I highly recommend Dr Ned Ramadan. He is a great surgeon, a caring doctor and provides as much time as needed at each visit. I never feel rushed nor do I leave without all my questions answered. He has performed 5 surgeries on my feet (fixed 2 bunions, Tailor bunions, and hammertoes), and I now walk pain free. Dr. Ramadan is hands down one of the nicest doctors I've been to. A few years ago I had broken my foot and was not treated properly and sent back to work. After about a week i saw Dr. Ramadan for an unrelated issue and he insisted on taking an x-ray, well thankfully he did because he found more damage done. For 4 months he changed my casts and tended to all my concerns with my foot. After the cast came off he willingly rehabilitated me back to 100%, not too many other doctors would do so. I've been seeing Dr. Ramadan for a little over a decade now, I first had him treat a case of planter warts on the bottom of my foot, he did an amazing job and you can't tell anything was ever done to it.
