I knew exactly what I wanted (Loaded Flex 2), but my daughter had lots of questions. The gentleman behind the counter named Mike was SO much help. He took his time and helped her select a board, helmet, and knee/elbow/wrist pads. After 4 months, we're both still very satisfied with our selections and ride almost daily. Long story short - Salty's is a great spot full on knowledgeable folks, and you get to shop and support a local business in the process. The only negative thing I can think of is there is a 3.9% service charge for credit card purchases, so either pay cash or debit to avoid this. It caught me off guard on a $550 purchase.

Then it used to be "a" shop. This is now a future ghost in the industry. The owner would rather tear down and break relationships over a $15.00 sticker rather than to man up and own the culture and choice he made to run such a shop. Screw our skateboarding and surfing history....chase the dollar...and your no long "the" or "a" shop to the culture you left behind. You are simply standing behind a counter waiting for the bougie squares to like you and save you. They will not save you. Nor will we now. We were always the only ones who could. They carry a beautiful Italian line, Perserico, that has dream cashmere pieces (I got some sweaters and a beautiful a line skirt). One of the dresses was Badgley Mischka and the other was Polo, both cocktail worthy. They carry Hudson jeans. They have their own custom pieces as well.
