Unfortunately, the experience at the scheduling desk is consistently the opposite. The two staff members there are often dismissive and lack basic courtesy. At my most recent visit, my doctor walked me to the desk to schedule a follow-up. One staff member was on the phone, and the other appeared available, so I waited at the counter as directed. She struggled with the computer without acknowledging me or communicating what was happening, leaving me standing there without any guidance. When the second staff member got off the phone and took over, the first thing she said--abruptly--was: "Ma'am, respectfully, don't be at the counter when we are on the phone." The tone made the "respectfully" feel anything but respectful. To be clear, I am familiar with HIPPA. I was there because I had been directed to the counter by my physician, I thought the first staff member was going to take care of me and I was also trying to steady myself due to significant pain. When I suggested that patients may need something to support themselves if they're expected to wait away from the counter, I was told to stand against the wall, with a dismissive mention that wheelchairs were available--offered more as a remark than as actual assistance. This is not an isolated incident. The pattern of behavior at the front desk stands in stark contrast to the quality of care provided by the physicians. Patients in pain deserve clear communication and basic respect.

I had an MRI of my neck cervical which indicate that I had degenerative disc disease. I called to request testing on my hip as well because I believe that I may have either hernia or maybe in need of a hip replacement I wasn't sure no one ever called me back. I couldn't get through on the telephone Even at my initial appointment recently. The staff was horrible. They refused to fix the portal so that I can log into it because they had my date of birth wrong. I inquired in person I called on the phone four times. No one ever reached out to me therefore I will not be getting an x-ray or any other treatment with these people. Thanks to their horrible, horrible And competent staff.

Although, that is HIS job. it was embarrassing and flat out wrong I've never heard of a patient being pulled from a room for this. I called to speak with the office manager, and was told she was with a patient and then I never heard back from her. wonder how many other people he has spoken to like that and why he is allowed to get away with it? Everyone else there has been great !

Thats why I was so disappointed when I went to my follow up appointment and got Vince. The ablation I got worked great. The day I went I was in a great deal of pain with bursitis and neck pain. I asked him to prescribe steroids to get the inflammation down and he acted like I asked for heroin. Also, his accent was pretty thick and hard to understand. Then I tried to call the office manager after I left but she didn't get on the phone, or call me back. The first girl who answered took it upon herself to make threats about trying to get pain medication from more than one place! She didn't listen at all and had zero empathy. Honestly I felt like I was robbed of my copay. I would never go back or recommend this place to anyone. I would love to hear Dr P( long Polish name) was in his own practice now. Ever since they merged with the new pain management company, they've had problems with me for some reason. They tried to get me off of their service 10 months ago but their reason was a joke and they backed off. Well, they tried it again and told me I had a find another doctor. I asked them for the results of my specimen. I've called the medication line 4 times in the last 3 weeks and left the same message but as of yet, no response. So, what are they hiding? What are they afraid of ? I believe that ever since they new company took over, they wanted me off of their service because of the amount of pain meds they were prescribing to me for 5 years. So they made up this story that one of my meds wasn't in my sample. They told me to find another pain management doctor!! Well, it's not that easy. A new doctor thinks all the reasons I need a new doctor is because of misuse of my meds!! That's not accurate so now I have to go through horrible pain and back to living in my bed!! I've contacted my attorney to look into this nightmare of mine. I'm convinced that the new company wasn't happy with how much pain meds I was having and got worried about themselves so they made up a reason to get rid of me. My spine is fused on 7 vertebrae into my hip bones. I didn't have a cut on my finger!!

I worked with Dave on both PT and their Softwave therapy and somehow wiped away 10+ years of injuries (hamstring pulls, multiple rotator cuff/neck injuries, and a ton of others). I cannot speak highly enough about Active Life because their approach is what PT should be- a partnership to help figure out what's going on and get you on a path to where you want to be. The Softwave machine was a game changer for me, as I have had a ton of deep muscle pulls and soft tissue injuries from sports over the years that never healed properly so it was always really tough for me to get back into shape. I was amazed how the Softwave therapy hit exactly where these issues were, and in some cases felt immediate relief. I could feel the decompression of certain areas and even felt 'lighter' after sessions. For me, the biggest benefit was giving me the confidence to get back into exercising. It felt like I was always taking one step forward and two steps back until I started working with Dave. The Softwave machine coupled with his expertise in PT really helped me build a foundation that I could take with me. Active Life gets my highest recommendation and I hope they help you as much as they helped me.
