Located on the rooftop level of a design-forward parking lot in Copenhagen's Nordhavn neighborhood, there are two steep stairs you can access the playground from. Once you're at the top, a fence protects the space, but you can still see amazing views of the water and city. There are bars, climbing structures, benches, trampolines and a net that offers a view straight down into the parking garage. For a unique experience, I recommend stopping by!

You often have to wait. The lay out it easy to understand. At 1st floor they have running, free weights, room for sumba or similar things, and bath. At 2nd floor crosstrainers, bikes, gym machines, balls, kettles, spinning room, heat wave room, and bath for women. It is a very dirty place; floor, sinks, machines are very dirty. They could use a good cleaning. I will only go here for gym classes, or if I was living near by.

It is not the cleanest one, but still OK. They try now to keep it cleaner by asking people to bring indoor shoes (what make sense). And especially for the Fitness world chain. The equipment was all very high quality, with multiple stations of the typical stuff -- benches, deadlift platforms, squat racks, etc. There were also a wide variety of machines, many of which I've rarely, if at all, seen before. Again, all were great and modern quality. There's a long turf area, with everything you could imagine as far as cross-training gear near said turf. Essentially just a huge variety and amount of very modern equipment. In my experience, gyms either have quality OR variety. This place has both. The employee at the front desk (who I later learned was one of the owners) was very friendly, and especially welcoming when I mentioned that I was new in town. As he made me a banana + protein shake after my workout (which is also an amazing perk -- delicious with a bunch of options), he gave me helpful suggestions for things to do in town. "There is no perfect gym." This is what I have said about every gym I have gone to, prior to…read morevisiting Vesterbronx. Now, Vesterbronx has raised my expectations for gyms. It is THE PERFECT GYM! That means a lot to me, as someone who has visited many gyms around the world, always trying to find the perfect one. Vesterbronx is friendly to powerlifters, weightlifters, CrossFitters, Strongman, bodybuilders, and multi-sport athletes alike. It is located in a very trendy area in Copenhagen called Vesterbro. There are a lot of restaurants around. The closest metro station, Forum, is about a 20 minute walk away, but there are buses which pick up much closer to the gym. The gym is on the 2nd floor which you can climb up to using the staircase or use the elevator. When you enter, you will be greeted by someone who is manning the coffee / espresso / protein shake café. Do note that this gym is cash only. So if you want to purchase a t-shirt, walk-in for a day pass, or purchase a food or café item, you will need to have some Danish Krone on you. The gym itself is clean and filled with everything a serious athlete could possibly need. The gym is equipped with many speciality bars (an SSB squat bar, football bar, log press, Eleiko weightlifting bars, a trap bar, and fat bars) and at least 5 power racks, 2 combination racks, and several competition benches with spotting platforms. There are many power bars including Ohio Power Bars and Eleiko Power Bars. Here is some more equipment this awesome gym has: chains, bands of all tensions, TRX, row machines, GHR, cable machines, full dumbbell stack, rings, ropes, reverse hyper, hyperextension, sissy squat, kettlebells, a turf, prowler sleds, plenty of machines, and a POMMEL HORSE (I thought that was so cool)! So you can come here to get a coffee, lounge, eat, relax, and train. They even have an "Arnold Lounge" which is a bodybuilding room that feels like an Arnold Schwarzenegger man cave. What a great environment. And not only that, there were a lot of strong people in there. I love training in an environment where others are pushing themselves really hard. It makes you push yourself harder. Finally, the staff were nothing short of wonderful. I got to meet René who actually let my brother borrow his shorts (he wasn't planning to train). How awesome! If I lived in Copenhagen, this would absolutely be my home gym.

Either buy and bring water, as I didn't see any water fountains. The atmosphere: This is a nicer gym, like an equinox in the US and even has cute work out gear and cycling shoes for sale. People are there for fitness, so I would go no matter what shape you are in. The Crowd: The girls were the type of fit attractive that made me feel like I needed to continue to work out harder and keep up. They all managed to sweat and look great, something definitely to strive for. I did not notice the guys quite the same way, but I did not notice them in a negative way. The equipment: They have a pretty reasonable selection of equipment for its location. It's not the largest space I've seen for a gym and they filled it pretty well. Despite a wall of treadmills, they did run out. Lots of free weights, benches, you'll have most of what you could think of here. Amenities: I can't speak for the men's locker, but the ladies - while it can get a little messy and wet - has a lot to offer. It has dry and wet sauna. The sinks have hair dryers, curling irons, and flat irons, showers, the lockers are the larger 1 on top 1 on bottom and are more modern. In front of the classes, there are small lockers if you don't want to use the locker room. Bring Your Own: They do not have towels at this location. In addition would recommend you bring money or your own liquids. The store does offer coconut water, protein drinks and more. As a NYer I found the pricing just fine and liked the brands. If you're more budget conscious, there is a grocery store on the corner. Classes: They really have quite a lot of classes starting from 6:30/7am until later in the evening. I wish they had more classes on the weekend or had later hours, but I suspect Copenhagen has too much work life balance to find people who would open so late. The Zumba class I took was great. The instructor had a great vibe and managed to keep an eye on all the newbies. classes are 60 min long.

Our first evening we made a reservation at the restaurant within the hotel, on the top floor. Although the menu was rather limited, the food was divine and far better than some of the hyped up restaurants within the city of Copenhagen. We arrived bright and early, super-charged with coffee to start our 3 back-to-back games at this location. ClockedIn is located in a very historical section area of Copenhagen. Right across the street from their location is the origin of "Carlsberg" beer, so be sure to check that out If you do visit. There's also a busy shopping street full of brand name companies just a few minutes of a walk from there (you will see some of that footage in our Copenhagen travel video on our YouTube channel). The first room that we escaped was their original room - "The Murder Case at the Detective's Office". The story line is that our team must enter the scene where a private detective was murdered and find out who killed him (this is so my kind of theme since I watch CSI religiously). I put on my Sherlock Holmes "hat" and took my Watson (Brandon) with me! Since we have played a good amount of escape rooms before, I would say we have seen a few tricks here in other places but there were a few that was cleverly utilized. We even got stumped on one later and had to use a clue to find it. Since this is one of their older rooms, it might be good idea to maintain some of the props. But overall they went along with the storyline quite well. I did like how the clues were very clear and to the point and it was easy to associate and solve. "The Mystery at The Secret Warehouse" room is the second room we are attempting here. We were debriefed on the disappearance of a famous archaeologist and in this warehouse that we are entering, we needed to find five mythical runestones which will give the owner true wisdom and eternal life. We may need these stones to find the missing archaeologist. Finding things is one of Watson's (Brandon) strengths so I let him lead the way this time. The décor for this room definitely felt much more immersive than the previous. You felt that you entered a real warehouse with lots of crates in a dim light setting. The puzzles also felt more creative in here. As the story line develops, we found more and more "surprises". There's a good mixture of key locks and technology in here. We were a little stomped at the end on one of the puzzles as it did sort of needed a little outside history knowledge or some lucky guessing. Either way, we were able to figure it out and escape with two people with time to spare. For adventures out there who's looking for an Indiana Jones like experience, give this a try! I did feel a little physical agility was utilized in the room. We had to leave the party room as our final room to attempt on. We are eager to end our adventure at ClockedIn with their newest room, "The Cocktail party of Vlad D. Hanson". We heard that if you wanted to, they even allow you to bring your own beverage to enjoy a real cocktail party experience in this room! This could be a great fun to do for your bachelor/bachelorette party if you don't go overboard. Since our brains are still wired from the two previous games, we didn't want to waste any time. Our story began with the count inviting us to his famous cocktail party and when we arrived, because of the current renovation on the place, we had to enter through the butler's kitchen before we can get to the ballroom. This is when we realized that we were locked in and about the become cocktails ourselves if we don't escape in time! We had to get to work quickly. Upon entering the kitchen (this is also a clever idea by the owner as the original location had a kitchen, so he had to come up with a theme that worked with the space), we felt that this room was much more spacious than the other two. This room was definitely a lot less liner than the others as well. We were able to divide and conquer on a lot of different small puzzles. Although we did feel that this room had more puzzles to solve than the other two but because we can solve them separately, it made things easier. From a décor aspect, the room definitely had an eerie feeling although we felt that it could be a little more "haunting" for a better immersive feel, but I think the owner would like to make this more family friendly. We also played a lot of creepy themed escape rooms before (even with live actors) and I was a bit more relieved on the fact that it's just a normal room so I can concentrate on solving puzzles versus getting scared. My partner on the other hand was hoping the count will come out and drink his blood.We finished this room the quickest out of all the three rooms we tried, and the owner said we set a new record as to how fast we completed it and usually this is the hardest room by their standard. *For more info, check out my Yelp profile.
