Always a great stop along the bourbon trail. The bourbon creams are the best along with the bourbon cherry cordials. Do not miss

B & N Food Market - Brisket. Must get!!!

B & N Food Market

We finally made the drive to B & N Food Market in Bagdad, and it absolutely lived up to the hype…read more Even arriving for a late lunch, the place was packed, but the line moved quickly and the staff kept everything running efficiently. The BBQ was outstanding. The brisket had a beautiful smoke ring, was incredibly juicy, and had the perfect bark. The ribs were exactly how I like them--tender with a slightly sweet, sticky sauce that complemented the meat instead of overpowering it. The macaroni and cheese was good, but honestly, I'd make the drive again just for the BBQ. We've tried BBQ all over the Louisville area, and B & N Food Market is now our favorite. If you're anywhere within driving distance, it's absolutely worth the trip.

Heard about B&N from a friend. Road trip to Bagdad for lunch…read more My wife ordered the half rack of ribs with 2 sides ($23). I ordered the brisket special that also came with 2 sides ($19.99). My wife's ribs were huge and the sides generous. The ribs were smokey and very meaty. These are not baby back ribs, they are very big. Our only complaint is the ribs were enveloped in a pretty tough crust. Quite chewy. BUT once you broke through to the meat it was tender and very tasty. Her sides were Mac and cheese and green beans. My wife thought the Mac and cheese was just OK but the green beans were seasoned very well and she loved them. My brisket came with two thick slices with a nice crust on the fat side. I really enjoyed the brisket. My sides were the Mac and cheese, and pinto beans and cornbread. I agreed with my wife, the Mac and cheese was OK, but the pinto beans and cornbread was very good, seasoned nicely. There's no real handheld menu. You walk up to the counter and there are big pieces of paper taped to the glass case that serves as the menu. So you get in line, and as you move forward staff comes out and takes your order. You grab a seat and your self serve fountain drink if you want one. They bring your food to you. Other than ordering and food delivery, everything else is self serve. Desserts and soft serve ice cream are also available as self serve. All staff are very friendly and accommodating. They were extremely nice and patient with me walking through the whole process since this was our first visit. BTW, be prepared for communal dining. Very few single tables and they go fast. You pay once you're done eating. Nice small town folks and good food.

Absolutely amazing little place. They have pizza and appetizers, alongside a local market where you…read morecan shop local farmers and creators goods. We were in town for the bourbon trail, but I tend to rely on Yelp and Google reviews to help me find places to eat. Y'all did not let me down! The pizza was absolutely amazing, with fresh toppings, and just the perfect crust. Then on the bottom, with a little poof crust at the edges. I was greeted by Kayla, who is very friendly and easily recognized I had never been in before, lol! She walked me through how to order, and was just very kind. We tried the carnivore, because who doesn't love an all meat pizza? There's plenty of picnic tables for seating, and there's also a really pretty outdoor area where they have flowers and more tables. I will 100% return when back in the area in the fall, and I highly recommend you stop in and give them a try. We saw some people getting wings as we were finishing up, and those looked amazing too!

You could literally see and taste the bright tomato in the sauce, and the crust had that perfect char that only comes from real care. I ordered the gluten‑free crust and was blown away by how good it was; crisp, flavorful, and easily one of the best I've had anywhere. The whole market felt warm and welcoming. Everyone working there was knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely excited to share information about the ingredients and process. I also tried a kale salad so fresh and crunchy it could have passed for romaine, and a kombucha that tied the whole meal together. I'll be thinking about this place long after I'm back home in California. Overall a very well constructed and cozy establishment.

To my surprise, the parking lot was not as big a nightmare as I thought it was going to be. It was one of the easiest parking lots I have been in at a Walmart in a long time. I ended up being able to find a parking spot quickly and didn't feel like I was taking my life in my hands walking through the lot. Inside, it was at least decently stocked and clean. Unlike some I have been to, I was able to grab everything I needed and was pleasantly surprised with the ease of being able to make it through the store. Checking out was easy. I did the self checkout and was shortly out the door.

We placed a order for delivery and it said it would arrive between 3 and 5 pm, great right? Wrong!…read moreThat time came and went because the delivery driver canceled our order. The delivery time got pushed back to 8:10 and we finally had a driver. But these people love to test my commitment issues because yet again the driver canceled. Now it's saying the order will be delivered tomorrow if we wanted our food in 2-3 business days we would have ordered on Amazon. Now these people got me out here changing my order from "delivery" to "pickup" because I'm not waiting anymore this is just ridiculous. Give me some Ice cream or something for the wait since you want to be greedy and keep my money and refuse a refund.

Aldi in Frankfort is amazing!!! This store is clean, organized and the service is phenomenal…read more The prices are unreal. As a single Mom I budget and meal plan every week. I save at least $50-75 a week on groceries. Their curbside pickup is a true tome saver. BONUS... it's close to Chik-fil-A

Then proceeding down the first aisle there is a wide selection of bread, followed by cookies. On the opposite side of the aisle there was a variety of chips. On the back wall is a refrigerated section with doors that contained juice, milk and the like. After the door section the refrigerated shelves continue with a vast selection of cheeses. As you round the turn on the far side wall is a refrigerated section with cold cuts, lunch meats, followed by fresh meats. The last stretch of this wall is a doored freezer section that contained meats, meals, and pizzas. Despite the fact that I was almost overwhelmed at this point I checked out all the center rows. The floor had clear markings showing the one way direction that shoppers were supposed to follow. Briefly I can tell you there were spices, oils, cake mixes,, candy for Halloween, paper products, laundry supplies, and so much more. I brought a grocery box from home that I had packed goods from Sam's in to fill with my purchases. When I approached the check out lane there was good signage that indicated to out your items on the conveyor belt. As the clerk scanned the items he repacked them in my box. Check out was a breeze and I'm sure I found some good buys plus some German goods that I would not find in my normal grocery store. I'll be back. My only complaint us I wish I had an Aldi in my community.
