Everytime I go see her its like I get renewed. She listens to me and somehow manages to understand my explanation of what I want and make it a reality. I can honestly tell you she has nailed everything from Ombre (when that was in) to trims with me. She even bleached my entire (past the armpit hair) head once without damaging it. Which is insane. Most recently I went in for a trim and came out like a new me. My confidence skyrocketed. She gave me a gorgeous trim. She kept the length I asked for and thinned it out which left me with beautiful but effortless hair. Ive never really been great with styling so shes always helped me with cuts that make me look like I tried without trying. After my cut this time I mentioned that I really wanted to step up my game. Her hair always looks amazing and I mentioned I wish I knew how to soft wave curl it and I kid you not as if the most natural thing in the world genuinely was like want me to show you? I was like yes!!! Tracy is the kind of hairdresser who soon becomes more of a friend. I used to dread getting my hair cut and always feeling awkward or the worst is when I used to have to watch the person to make sure they were going in the right direction. Thats far from what its like a Ritual. I completely trust Tracy. Its actually funny. This last time I forgot to where my contacts so we cut my hair with my glasses off and it was like an UBER surprise to see it afterwards. I fucking loved it!! So if youre ready to get the cut, color, style, treatment of your dreams then come here. She has such an oasis of a place and you will feel pampered with coffee/ tea and get to spend time chatting with a seriously amazing person!

I decided to try Jayne & Co after my wife got an excellent haircut (a major change from mid-back to…read morebob) from stylist Erica. I can't speak to owner Sydney's haircutting skills since I also booked with Erica, but she was very helpful on the phone helping me schedule a convenient appointment time. From scheduling to arrival through the haircut and even paying the bill the vibes were just right. Erica listened to what I was thinking (something like Noah Wyle's haircut on The Pitt), offered her own thoughts, and then really took the time to give me a great haircut -- initial trim, luxurious shampoo, and then touchup. The haircut (including a genuinely no-pressure tip) was 2-3x what I typically pay at a basic barber shop, but when I come home from the barber shop my wife's face doesn't LITERALLY LIGHT UP like it did when I brought this latest haircut home. Totally worth it. A relaxing spa-like experience while there followed by just that extra bit of love in my wife's eyes. The salon is a lovely, peaceful space, just 10 minutes up Highway 9 from Highway 1 with easy parking. I hope they get lots of steady business so I can continue to have a terrific local place to keep going back to!
