Unable to initiate "email us or chat links" I decided to call. Initial call was pretty straight forward, talked to a female who told me that she needed the serial number of the tool box in order to continue the request for a lock for it. When I asked she said to just ask for sales when I called back. I obtained the serial number and that is when the nightmare started. Multiple phone calls where I talked to different persons every time and got nowhere with most saying they would transfer to proper dept or unknowledgeable about product. Have been on hold for 48 min now. My review will fit in with the many other negative ones, but here again we have a business with management that really doesn't care about customers. I ordered running boards for my truck on 8-29-2025. I was charged at the time of my order. I inquired 3 times OVER 6 MONTHS (8-29-2025 through 3-4-2026) about the status of my order. The first time was in August 2025. The second time in October 2025. Both times the response was " they will arrive in 6-8 weeks." After complaining on the non-live "Live Chat" 3-4-2026, I received an email today that I the product was no longer available. I have waited 6 months with RealTruck keeping my money to find out now that the product is no longer available. This is an absolutely unacceptable response after keeping my money for 6 months without reaching out to me to advise the product is unavailable. RealTruck also sends out a "review" email that DOES NOT ALLOW you to mark anything other that 5 stars. I would be wary of any 5 star reviews in regards to RealTruck. read more

We had a A.R.E. truck cap installed 3 weeks ago. The manufacturer sent a wire harness for the brake light that was not correct for the year, make and model of our truck. The second and more important issue is where the cap meets the truck bed the cap does not fit and is off considerably. The cap has a width variation from front to back in excess of 1/2". According to customer service at Real Truck / A.R.E. the cap has been installed wrong and needs to be adjusted on the truck bed. The dealership where I purchased the cap contacted them as well and was told the same thing by customer service, saying that it is an installation problem not a manufacturing problem. Real Truck / A.R.E. told the dealership they would send a gasket kit that would elevate the cap off the truck bed and fix the problem. This is the WORST company on the planet! I ordered a set of Bilstein struts for my RAM 1500 on June 9th. RealTruck received payment from my PayPal on June 10th. After a week, I had received NO confirmation of my purchase from RealTruck or any shipping information. I called the "Customer Service" number at RealTruck. After waiting 30 minutes, I was told that the items "ship from the manufacturer within 1 to 3 business days." I explained that it had already been 5 business days. They suggested I give it another day or two. So, I did. After 3 more days, I called RealTruck again. A ticket was opened for my case! A customer service expert was going to "contact Bilstein and find out what happened" to my order. I was sure (in my mind) that my struts would be shipped soon. NOT! After another 5 days, I called RealTruck for the third time about my order. I was told that it was given "priority" and that an associate would be in contact with me. They did get in contact with me very shortly - to say that they would send a message to the manufacturer! Wait! Didn't they tell me they were going to contact Bilstein 5 days ago, when I made my second call to this God-awful excuse for a company??? Would anyone care to venture a guess as to the result? NOTHING - no communication from RealTruck, no shipping information, not a single email or call from RealTruck about my struts. By now, it had been nearly 3 weeks and I had: 1. No struts 2 No info from RealTruck or Bilstein 3. No refund 4. No patience left!!! I asked to cancel the order. What do you think happened? NOTHING. After another week, I contacted PayPal to initiate a dispute. Finally, after a month of this crap, my money was refunded. STAY AWAY from RealTruck! Once it arrived, the shipping documents were correct but the tonneau cover they sent was for a mini pickup. Sent that one back and they said they would "overnight" the correct cover. Ummmm yea, 3 days later and the cover was delivered via fedex, destroyed and falling out of the box. Once again, back on the phone with their absolutely HORRIBLE customer service return team (such ghetto hood rats). Refused to overnight, refused to allow me to speak to a supervisor, refused to use another shipper besides fedex. Now I sit and wait, ANOTHER 5 days at least. RealTruck is miserable to work with, has a terrible return policy and sells inferior products. I paid a premium for a Retrax truck bed cover with doesn't even properly close on the truck. When I addressed the company they said that the cover isn't supposed to overlap the tailgate and the rubber strip is just supposed to touch the tailgate. With the hot and cold of weather, wind, and warpage due to the rubber material, it doesn't stop rain, dust, or anything from getting in the truck bed. Their customer service requires a 3.5 hour phone hold to reach someone and then you just hope you don't get disconnected. Stay away from REALTRUCK and Retrax. read more

Lack of communication from company. The CSR even said we don't reply to emails. I responded to the one I received from them in 19 min. When I tried to call, it took over 70 min on hold. In the end it took over a month to fix. It even took longer than the time frame they told me. In fact that time frame had expired when I even was told about it. I have spoken to two people and chatted with there online several times with no response or way to rectify it.....so now its time to return and refund and start over obviously the customers do not matter to this place. I am nearly 60 years old. This being one of my top two worst experiences should be telling you something. Before calling this vendor to inquire about my order I waited Four weeks on something that was supposed to ship in three. I tried email, but they ignored that. I finally called and complained so the person I spoke with created a "ticket" and another person reached out to me. He said he would check with the manufacturer and get back to me. I waited four days before having to call back because, guess what, he never got back to me. The manufacturer was blamed for the delay and I was given an expected ship date of 6 June which was six weeks after I ordered, three weeks after original ship date. I filed a dispute with my credit card company for non receipt of goods purchased and they did their thing. I sent another email on the morning of June 6 asking for an update. ..crickets.. I called the next morning and spoke with my contact and he says NOW the expected ship date is SOMETIME next week. You decide if you think they deserve your business. Update 16 Jun 2019 I received my cover yesterday, and while it is beautiful, there was a "Build Ticket" from the company that manufactured my cover and the date that Real Trucks/Tonneau Covers World actually placed my order was 22 May 2019. They also sent me the same nerf bars for the same side. I had to put them on backwards. I have called multiple times. Supposedly someone is to get back to me. I ordered a DeeZee bed mat that was supposed to fit my 2019 Chev pickup. When the bed mat arrived it was obvious that the mat had been crudely cut off at the tailgate end. It had been manufactured for a longer bed. It did not have the finished border that was around the other 3 sides and the cut was crooked or not straight from side to side. I did all the research needed to determine which tuner I wanted for my truck. I thought I found the best price with RealTruck and confirmed with "CHAT" agent if the part I was ordering was correct because it had a different SKU # on RealTruck. She said it was. On my email confirming purchased item I determined it was the wrong part. Order date was 11/18/2021, return request was done on 11/19/2021. I ordered the right tuner direct from the manufacture for a cheaper price than the "third party" provider RealTruck. It is now 12/02/2021 and I'm still waiting for the "return lable" to send the part back to get a refund. RealTruck is using the excuse that they are extremely busy and short handed. Must be busy with processing all the returns from unhappy customers. Save your time from hassles and shop direct or anywhere else. read more

About a week later they sent an email about a delay in order fulfillment. A week after that I get another extending it further. A week after that guess what, another one. So I call them to see what is going on and why they keep extending my ship time when they said they had them in stock. The lady on the phone said "we dont actually know what we have in stock until the warehouse calls us about an order." So i keep waiting finally they email me again after waiting for a month and a half past the original ship date that it was gonna be another two months to get my parts. I am over playing this game soni canceled my order. Then now have told me that i would get my money back in no more than 10 days. That was on July 15th. It is now August 2nd and I still do not have my refund. They owe me over 1000 dollars rigjt now.
