The books end up being like $20, so it was nice to see them priced so reasonably here. I saw some great write and wipe books on letters, numbers, and math. There were some great sticker books (the type that teach), and I was able to snag a seek-and-find bug sticker book that teaches counting for like $8. It is incredibly engaging and effectively reinforces counting skills in a very fun way. Plus, it gives kids something to do with stickers that's fun and doesn't involve finding them all over your house. They also had some great quality Canadian brand of kids toys that I cannot remember, but good craft kits from them. Aside from the clothing, prices were quite reasonable, and the clothes, admittedly, were better quality than you see at typical kids stores. They were made like stuff used to be made. You know, like actually quality enough to pass down. I definitely plan to make this a regular stop for my birthday and Christmas shopping list. There are no yap yap toys, but pretty much kid-powered stuff that requires a brain to be actively engaged in creative thinking. My kind of stuff! Mike sized me up and was immediately on the phone to order my suit from his supplier, with expedited shipping at no extra charge. The price was a bit more than I'd pay at Men's Warehouse, but not a whole lot more, and the garments are of noticeably higher quality, and each suit comes with lifetime free alterations. He called me the minute it came in, and I went down to try it on. It fit great, and looked great, but I immediately noticed it was a charcoal grey, rather than the lighter grey I wanted, and which I heard Mike order on the phone. In short, I knew it was the supplier's mistake, not the Shop's. But Mike didn't pass the buck, didn't explain it away. He took accountability for his supplier's mistake, and had the charcoal suit altered for me to use in my interview, and ordered the correct grey one for me when I get back. I was expecting to give back the charcoal one, but when I returned to try on the altered suit, he insisted I keep both for the trouble. I was blown away. Mike's words were "I do business the right way, the way it used to be done". Indeed. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

A simple exchange would not have cost them anything as the shoes were 100% unworn. If the shoes were no longer in stock, I would have understood paying a restocking fee of a reasonable percentage in exchange for store credit. Instead I was RUDELY dismissed. I cannot recommend this shop based on this poor experience.
