Our relationship began early last year when looking for a pair of Viberg boots from them, which after a short, but thorough phone call, we were able to find the perfect addition to my small collection. Over the course of the last year the relationship has blossomed to a degree that they are my first and only choice for all of my footwear and clothing needs. Whether it is the always on attitude, the extremely efficient and thorough email responses, the impeccable taste and design ethos, or the ability to guide me away from mistakes, I simply cannot overstate the value of this relationship with a prospective client. Living on the east coast it would sounds insane to most to suggest that a small men's shop in Seattle, WA could be the best place to purchase clothes, but I promise you, the only mistake you could make with working with the crew here is in not being fast enough on the draw when a limited edition piece drops on their site. Carrying the finest brands in the world, with the expertise in design and product selection to fully stock a mans wardrobe, you couldn't ask for a better resource to have available. I would highly recommend any person remotely considering them for any of their needs to not hesitate in reaching out. Each brand they carry truly dominates their niche in the fashion industry and when viewed from a holistic perspective, brings to light the perfect balance of form and function for a truly heirloom quality wardrobe. First off, I feel bad that I forgot the name of the young man who helped me. Super cool guy. Extremely knowledgeable and loved this job. I think his name is Connor. What I like about this place is that each item can act as a standalone item to add to your pre-existing style or to build a new wardrobe. I found the perfect shirt, a much needed wallet, and an awesome leather bracelet. Great attention to detail and everything is of great quality. This is one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. It was definitely not a typical West Coast 'you should be just be thankful just for being here' shopping experience. Sadly, I have to echo what I've read in a number of other reviews. Division Road sells some wonderful products. However, their owner Jason seems to foster an attitude of "the customer is never right" and a feeling of condescension from him especially, but from the staff in general. It's almost as if you are being given a privilege by being allowed to shop there. I had been a customer over a 2-3 year period during the pandemic. I spent at least $2000+ with them and for the most part, I was very happy. Then I purchased a pair of boots on their "Boxing Day" sale. This was the second pair of boots from the same maker that I had purchased from them. I bought the same size that I had bought before. When I got them, I loved the boots, the quality, the leather, etc. I out them on and thought they were very tight. But I figured they'd "break in" as most boots do (I have a lot of boots). But by the second day, they were excruciating. Unlike any pair of boots or shoes I've ever owned. I tried to reach out to Jason (with whom I'd had many conversations before), but his manager told me that Jason was "too busy and I needed to speak to her." I was frustrated by this, because I'd always spoken to Jason and had a relationship with him. And now I was having a real problem with a $600 pair of boots. I definitely expressed my frustration, but I wasn't rude, I didn't curse, I just said I wanted to speak to Jason. What I got, to my shock and disappointment, was a long email from Jason, first of all accusing me of "gender bias" because I didn't want to talk to Lauren, his manager and wanted to talk to him. I am married to a woman, and have two daughters, and the last thing any of them would do would be to accuse me of that, to the contrary!! But it was so offensive to even address a customer in that fashion. He then proceeded to defend the fact that the boots were a "final sale" item, that he had no interest in trying to help me out with the problem. He also told me that, essentially, he was too busy and that if I didn't want to deal with Lauren, we could go our separate ways. I took him up on that. I could go on and on about my dealings with the company that made the boots. They were kind enough to make an effort to help me even though I wasn't their customer, Division Road was. They still don't fit. It's the only pair of boots I have ever had from any manufacturer (Viberg, Underhoud, Alden, Tricker, Crockett and Jones, etc. etc.) that has caused me such pain and discomfort. And on their website, Division Road still has this boot and this last described as the equivalent of an E width US. This is 100% inaccurate. So, the moral here is, really, caveat emptor. You are not going to get support and appreciation for your business from these folks, that's for sure. read more

From start to finish this was a personal, professional experience. As a masculine presenting woman Im normally not taken seriously in upscale men's wear shops. Stepping into Division Road I felt heard and right at home. Will took his time (65 mins) to listen to my needs. Everything I tried on was quality and I came away excited to buy another pair of boots when im back in town. Division Road has a nice selection and I purchased a shirt through the website. When the shirt arrived it was a full size too small. I contacted Jason/Will and was told that in fact that shirt ran a full size small as the manufacturer had changed production methods 3 times. I was told that I could return the shirt for an exchange only which was fine but here is the catch. I had to pay $15 shipping for the original shirt, $15 for the return and $15 for the exchange. At a minimum they should have covered the original order as the garment wasn't the right size. When I asked for that as a reasonable request I received a lecturing email about their policy and what a favor they were doing me for taking the "final sale" product back. I would discourage any internet orders from them and only buy if you visit the store and be sure everything fits or you will be in for a bad surprise read more

The service provided by Division Road has been one of the best experiences that I've had of late. I appreciate the attention and time that Jason spent in helping me understand the materials and mostly the fit of each item I'd asked about. Jason truly has a way of painting a picture of a well-curated and heritage-based wardrobe. Each response was thoughtfully presented through his passion for each item in his store - and each piece seems to have the rich history of quality, hand-made goods. Simply put, it's reassuring to find that items that I've connected with are not only unique to this location, but reveal a high level of masterful craftsmanship in their collaboration with Division Road. From my searches these are fairly rare finds in such a ready-made marketplace. So it was even more unique to find not only menswear items that reflect a loving attention to all the finest details, but also a real voice on the store end in Jason that truly cares. Top quality merchandise. Jason puts a lot of thought into his collection. Some of my favorites are a hand made wool sport blazer my co-worker picked up at the shop. Its over a year old & worn often... still looks perfect. Another is a deep stone colored pull- over I've been enjoying on weekends around the house. I heard lots of good things about the store and when it came time for me to purchase some new boots I tried them out. Will answered all the questions I had about the style and fit and I went back and forth with him for a few days. He really spent a lot of time with me to make sure I get the perfect boot for me.
