Needed to have a tuxedo returned to the rental store after I departed DC. The hotel concierge was…read morenot very helpful so I took it upon myself to research some courier services. Sent out several request and flash delivery service responded first both with an email and a phone call. Immediately called back and spoke with the very professional employee. She explained how the service would work and that their courier would pick up the tuxedo from within the hotel and hand deliver it to the rental store. Total was about $60. Received the link to submit payment. Being an anal retentive, I phoned her afterwards to once again review that the time had to be after 11 AM and request the name of the courier so I can inform the Hotel. She was able to oblige both. when I landed back in Boston, I had received an email confirming completion of a delivery. Again being a bit of a control freak I phoned the rental store and they confirm they had received the tuxedo. Really great service, really smooth and professional would highly recommend them. Uber may be cheaper, but they're not going to leave the car see you would need to arrange for someone to bring your item to the car and then retriever from the car at the destination.

Whereas we have used All State Couriers previously, and received wonderful service, this last…read moresituation has prompted me to write a review. We sent an email requesting service from All State with explicit instructions as to what to pick up, where to pick it up and where to deliver the items. After 2 "no-shows" by the person they were picking up from, the items were finally retrieved (FYI, all no-shows are paid by us because we know that everyone's time is valuable and it's not their fault that some people don't adhere to their commitments. Plus, the job was prepaid, as is the policy of All State.) The person gave All State the box with old UPS shipping labels on it. After the package was rejected by FedEx bc of the old shipping labels, and instead of contacting us to see if there was a change in the instructions we emailed to them, the driver took the items to UPS, who used the old label and sent the package back to the person they had just picked it up from. Once we saw the receipt, we tried to stop the shipment but were too late. Upon contacting All State to find out what had happened, Sam told us that it was our fault because we didn't tell them that the old labels were on the box ( a detail we had no knowledge of whatsoever) and was hostile and rude to myself and my colleague, who had called All State immediately once she found out that the shipment had been sent incorrectly. I don't know what's happened to this company, but we will not be using them again. We now have added expenses to recover the equipment, again, and ship it correctly back to our client.
