Sorry Chuck, that is simply not a complete accounting of what occurred. You are hiding behind the major issue here, you missed fire hazard type issues in your inspection. Yes, we requested that the seller fix the issues that you first identified. We asked you back to assess if they had, why would we possibly hire an electrician at that stage of a sale, we don't own the house and would have no authority to send an electrician to a home that is not ours. We asked you back to inspect if they had fixed the issues, and your employee explicitly told us they had and that we were safe and good to go. On the first day, lights would not turn on, lights were flickering etc. We immediately brought licensed electricians to the home and were then informed of the extent to the dangers and repairs needed. Your employee missed those twice! We were not upsold on anything, we put in a major overhaul to make the electric actually work and to eliminate the fire hazard. Sorry we are managing this on social media, but as you know you did not even have the decency to reply to my last emails. I repeat, as 3 licensed electricians told us, any home inspector would have identified, reported, and alerted us to the extent of the issues we were left with. read more

Real Inspection Services was one of the companies recommended by our realtor's network. They were able to come in on short notice and Ben provided us with a very thorough report that was still easy to follow. He provided full commentary, pictures. Payment was straight forward and completed via a emailed link sent by the company. The online portal used to review the report is neat and user friendly. They use 3 categories to denote the level of repair required for any issues Moderate/minor (in blue), REPAIR/CORRECT (in orange), and PRIORITY REPAIR (in red) and include a picture for each item of note. Our purchase was a new build, yet Ben's report was so thorough that we went back to the builder/seller with a laundry list of minor details that needed to be addressed. While we had no need to reach out to Ben afterwards, he made it very clear that he could address any questions we have and provided contact information with the report. We closed last week, after all of Ben's findings were addressed. What drew me to them was there detailed PDF report that they sent her back that was way more detailed and user friendly than the report I had received back from another inspector earlier this year (I had one property under contract and canceled it after red flags popped up in that report). 1) the way the present your inspection report is through a very very user friendly web portal that makes every detail easy to understand.
