While having weekly…read moreappointments isn't anyone's favorite thing in the world the staff here at Woodward are so nice and supportive it is like seeing "friends" weekly. I always feel like I am in the best hands and lucky to have such a great care team.

At first, I was prescribed a birth control that worked very well for me, unfortunately I was not informed of the consequences of continued use, which are disrupted hormones and cessation of my period. My current provider showed no concern about my lack of period, despite my uncomfortable and obvious symptoms proven by lab work. My provider was eager to refer me to expensive out of office treatments, even for a simple question like what could cause a high blood pressure number! She seems more worried about if your labs fit into a "normal" threshold than she does about finding the route of the problem. She even said my ovaries looked normal on the ultra sound, until I had to remind her that they couldn't find my left one! Dr. Rachel Marrero seems more stimulant addicted than ever, and she couldn't give a f*ck about anything that isn't her check. I do want to give a special shout out to Miguel at front desk. A shining star in that demonic building. Thanks Miguel!!

Foos OB/GYN, PC - We welcomed Susan Geiger CRNP to Foos OB/GYN in May 2016!

There was only one good thing about this practice, and that was through one medical assistant named…read moreSkylar. Otherwise, the practice, especially the doctor, was awful. First of all, despite my husband and I repeatedly saying we had zero interest in birth control and wanted children, we got the birth control talk every visit with the old NP Susan (so this review is years old). We got the same thing with Foos our first visit and when we said we weren't interested she asked "are you Catholic". We said "something like that" because we HOPED they'd stop shoving it down our throats. It seemed to work... so we thought. Their office repeatedly messed up our insurance. We had two at the time and every visit, until we got new insurance, they billed in the wrong order. The office manager was awful and pretty much useless. I had a confirmed miscarriage. Foos REFUSED to say miscarriage and instead said "spontaneous abortion" with zero care that we lost a child. She pretty much acted like it wasn't a big deal and we'll get over it. Yes, both are medically accurate terms, but one is a punch in the face for grieving parents. And we repeatedly said miscarriage. I later conceived our son and due to the previous miscarriages (unconfirmed second) we were understandably anxious. We called whenever we had a concern and for the most part got blown off. She later basically said "if you are that worried go to the hospital" with a blaze attitude. We did go a decent number of times and probably would have gone more if I wasn't so put off by Foos's attitude. I went to the Internet a few times due to symptoms, but like anyone should I called Foos to get a doctors opinion when I was actually concerned. Pretty much was shoved away with a "don't read the internet". I bled a few times later on and saw Dr Foos at the hospital. The second time I went she seemed frustrated, stuck her fingers in me, pulled them out, and said "see, no bleeding" like I was lying about it. I have a pretty good idea what actually caused it, which ended up not being pregnancy related since it was only barely spotting. She was actually a typical doctor during routine checkups... until I dared asking questions about delivery. I wanted to go drug free as much as possible and be able to give birth in any position I wanted. She pretty much told me "yeah, if a woman gives birth squatting I can deliver... but you'll be so exhausted by that time you won't be able to stand" all with this "you can't handle it" attitude even though it seemed she was "trying" to not be. Sorry Dr Foos, but from reading those horrible "internet stories" (and people we know) I've never heard of women not being able to be in a non back-laying position unless they've had an epidural or something was wrong. So I go into labor. At 4cm she said "time to have a baby!" But not before telling me "That doesn't hurt!" when she was checking my cervix (oh yeah, it DID hurt) I didn't progress after 6 hrs in the hospital so she pretty much said "you could go on and be in labor for another 12 hours or get induced" so I opted for pitocin and nuban. Every cervix check was just about worse than the worst contraction, but thankfully the hospital nurse was fantastic. So I end up pushing, while on ALL FOURS on the bed as it was the only least painful position. Foos comes in and immediately says "she has to be on her back" without any real reason besides her own comfort. I said "I can't" and she goes "I won't deliver this baby unless she's on her back". I was furious but too exhausted to fight. She got "lucky" because his heart rate dropped so she did an episiotomy so he could come out ASAP. My boy starts coming out and she goes "dear lord we have an albino" like albino children aren't even human. No, he wasn't albino. The umbilical cord was around his neck, but his heart rate had been good prior to his head showing. She then forgot several things. First that my tests were normal so I didn't need iron... but then she prescribed iron before discharge. She also forgot that we didn't want a circumcision and so she was like "oh, I have to circumcise before you leave". She then berated my husband because she overheard us being "anti vax". FYI, we aren't. We didn't want the Hep B at birth for numerous reasons and opted for it at 1 month. He's been up to date on everything since. She has no business regardless. So the postpartum checkup comes, which is with the new NP Michelle. My husband wanted to make sure I brought the baby because he overheard a postpartum mother get berated by the office clerk when she didn't bring hers. Apparently the clerk was pretty much saying "we did the work, it's our right to see the baby" and was pretty mad. The poor woman seemed to not speak English real well and pretty much said nothing.
