I requested a quote and was satisfied with the cost based on materials and labor. As covid was still an issue, scheduling took some time but was worth the wait. When the crew did arrive, they accomplished all of the tasks including the replacement of worn, aged toilet flanges and ensured all equipment was in working order when finished. In addition, they showed me how to set the pilot on my gas fireplace (no charge) and walked me through all of the equipment features and what to do if there was an issue. To date (6 months later) everything is working and I am satisfied the company and crew understood what to do from start to finish.

They were booked solid - but he listened to my issue over the phone and gave me some troubleshooting ideas to include it is "usually a GFCI somewhere that got bumped and tripped that is causing the problem". I asked if that doesn't work, any recommendations for a competing electrician - provided with no hesitation. Before calling the recommended competitor, I found the offending GFCI (second floor bathroom - who knew??!), reset it and all good. So I never actually used them - but they will be my first call when I actually need an electrician. Though I think I know why they were booked solid.

We have a worse situation now, the lights flicker and there are dimming lights. They installed two new 120 volt receptacle circuits to the Kitchen, replaced front porch light. They repaired "double lugging" in circuit breaker panel, re-installed the switch for the exterior garage lights and they checked wiring. We gave them a $800 check, in person when they came to our home, on January 7, 2019 ($800 toward $1,125 owed), but they refuse to cash the check and refuse to give us a receipt to show that we made a payment. They claim every week when I call them that they will cash the check, or that they did cash the check, but it has not been deposited in the bank, as our banking account does not show a cleared check as of yet. We do not know why they refuse to cash the check, it has been three weeks now. We are afraid that there will be an electrical fire because of the work that was done. We did not have flickering lights and dimming lights before hiring Henry Electric. We are seeking a remedy for our situation. With our experience, this business is difficult to do business with, and their work is questionable. 1/30/2019, edited to add: Henry Electric eventually cashed the check (as it cleared January 29), came back to my home, inspected the electrical problems.
