Bad customer service. This dealership is selective to who they give good customer service to. From the people who answer the phone, to service advisor. They are all just rude. Bad experience. Would not recommend and would not trust my vehicle to be serviced there again. Brought my car in because of an air bag recall and paid for an oil change plus multi-point inspection package. Returned to picked up my car as soon as they called. They said the car was in good condition and no additional work needed to be done. As soon as I got in my car, I noticed a 30-inch crack across the windshield that wasn't there before. Went back into the dealership immediately to report this and at first, they outright denied it. An hour later and after speaking to two managers, they eventually agreed to pay for half the repair cost only. Regardless of their final decision, I felt that the entire situation should have been handled much better (especially if as they say, this is not an uncommon event). Supporting Details: 1) Despite evidence on the contrary, they said that the large crack was caused by a pre-existing chip in the corner the windshield and that any temperature or pressure change (e.g. from the sun or from the hoist) could have caused to spread. However, their own multi-point inspection just prior gave my windshield a green (satisfactory) condition. If the pre-existing chip was significant enough to cause such a crack from a simple temperature/pressure change, I feel they really should have detected it during this stage if they were doing a proper inspection. 2) Even if they missed the chip, the staff member who drove the car back out to me would have definitely noticed the 30-inch crack, which according to their own inspection, wasn't there before. Instead of notifying me and recommending repairs, they ignored this problem and knowingly handed the car back in worse condition than when I dropped it off. 3) The situation should have been escalated to a manager right right away but the staff member I reported this to instead insisted that I wait for my original service rep (who had currently stepped out of the building). After about 10 minutes of waiting, he returned and abruptly dismissed my concern and outright denied that they had anything to do with the damage. He said something along the lines of "we only did an oil change, we never took it out on the road for a spin or anything." 4) When I persisted, he said that I'd have to speak to the manager. Instead of calling one or taking me to see him, he went back to his work and expected me to somehow know where to find the manager's office on my own (granted it wasn't a big building but it was my first time there and I didn't even know where the bathrooms were at this point). 5) I eventually spoke the owner and to two different managers. They offered a "gesture of good will" to pay for half of the replacement cost (retail price for post-market windshield of $450). I informed them that my regular auto-mechanic 6 minutes away quoted me a price of only $260. They didn't believe me so I provided the name and phone number if they wanted to verify. At this point, they threatened to withdraw their offer completely unless I agreed to get the windshield replaced with them instead of taking my business elsewhere. 6) Lastly, hung prominently on their wall is a big "NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS" sign that informed customers to direct any unresolved complaints to the "Ministry of Consumer & Commercial Relations" at 416-963-0321. This number is no longer in service and said ministry seems to not exist either (closest thing I found was the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services who don't deal with this sort of thing). I have mentioned this concern to Ready Honda staff twice and said that they should probably update their sign or take it down altogether. They didn't seem too concerned and as of this writing a week and a half later, the sign is still there. Are they serious about customer service, or is the sign just for show? read more

I came here for a recall of a part in my Honda Civic and the guy who helped me was great, though I don't remember his name. I was late for my appointment by 30 minutes and they were still able to accommodate me. I needed the shuttle service and the guy told me it would be available within 15 minutes. I was waiting in the customer waiting area but wasn't called and went to go ask about it after 20 minutes. I think there was a guy who went to call us for a shuttle service but I was sitting in the back and didn't hear him call. Eventually I was able to get a ride. Great service here. read more

I've been a loyal customer at Ready Honda since buying my first new Honda Accord from them in 1991. (That's 26 years if you're counting!). I've always gotten them to service my Honda cars from tire changes to oil changes, brakes, batteries,... basically everything as I have trusted their work and honesty. Their prices were not the lowest, nor the highest but they retained my business as they never upsold me. Wherever possible, I've asked for the old parts back or ask to see the old parts to understand what exactly was replaced or repaired. Lately, since 2016, I've noticed they have been trying to upsell me for non-necessary replacements and/or services. I am not pleased with this change in their approach to a long, loyal customer. As well, I've never asked for discounts for any of their maintenance and or repair services despite having gone there for 26+ years. Consequently, I'll be looking for a new repair/maintenance provider as Ready Honda seems to be putting $$$ ahead of retaining customer loyalty. read more

1. Cheated me into buying extended warranty or else "I won't get the car" (total cost 5k) 2. Sales lady said that GPS has "traffic" control and thus takes me the best routes. It's a 2014 and a $50 garmin has that option but the civic doesn't. And this is the high end one with leather and all. 3. Service - these guys literally just do nothing. It's been two years and they haven't even told me once that the air filter and intake filter should be changed. Came here looking for a Odyessy. Showroom isn't that big. Service here is meh, not bad but not the best. When we asked to get a vehicle to test drive, the lady only bought 8.17 liters of gas and wondered why the fuel gauge didn't seem to go up from empty...now I'm no smarty pants but I'm guessing that 8 liters is nothing when your tank is empty, that's why the fuel gauge didn't move much. Salespeople should sell stuff in my opinion. They should not tell people that the "mature" way to buy a car is whatever the hell the think it is. Then he sends a nasty email to me saying "hope you enjoy paying more". It was one of the rudest emails I have ever encountered. Now, this is the only place I trust with my car. Ready Honda has the best service I know of! They always offer the lowest prices compared to Costco or Canadian Tire. The service guys are always honest unlike other places that try to rip me off. They always wash my car for me after every service unless they're backed up (which happens because EVERYONE always happens to go on the same day as me) then they offer me a free wash coupon & I can go in at anytime to use if I want. read more

I have a 2000 Honda Civic with more than 465,000 KM on it. I almost always take it to Ready Honda for service. The most critical thing is their honesty about what needs looked at today and what I need to plan for soon. They don't try to make me think it is all urgent when it is not. Sometimes they seem a little more pricey, but they often do little things at no fee that others charge for so.... And they don't talk down to me. Which I appreciate as a woman! My Dad made sure I had a good understanding of a car engine so I really hate it when a mechanic talks down to me. NEVER happens here. read more

Short version: Bought a used 'Honda certified' van from Ready Honda. Turns out that the van had been in an accident and they sold it to me as accident-free. Don't trust their 'accident-free' claim. Get it checked out by a bodyshop before closing the deal. Longer version: Bought a used van from them. When I got it home, I realized that the rear hatch was misaligned and hitting the bumper. I took pictures, emailed them to Ready Honda, and brought it in the next day and they moved the hatch over (so it didn't hit the bumper again). Two months later, I noticed that the hatch was hitting the bumper again. Brought it back and they moved the hatch over some more. Six months later: Same problem. This time, they told me that this was a brand-new problem because I had a rear collision sensor installed. Oh, and it was just a coincidence that the bumper was being hit in the EXACT SAME SPOT as the day I bought it (remember, I had emailed them the pictures a year before). The reality was that they couldn't shift the door any further and wanted to get rid of me. I gave up and took it to a bodyshop. They identified that the rear bumper was a replacement (the paint job wasn't that great - they pointed out a few spots where mistakes were made). To be honest, it's possible that they didn't know that they sold me a van that had been in an accident. Where they failed was by not 'owning' any responsibility after I could effectively prove what happened. Pretty shady, and I would definitely avoid them. Oh, and when I bought it, they tried to get me to fill out a PRE-FILLED recommendation (can't remember if it was for Yelp or Google reviews). In retrospect, that should have set off my alarm bells. read more

My experience with Ready has been very good. I bought a used Civic in 2011 from them and had most of the servicing done there. Here is an example. About 3 weeks ago I slid on an unplowed road, into a curb and hit the front right wheel quite hard. I asked one of the truck mechanics at work take the wheel off and see if the car was safe to drive. The only apparent damage was the wheel which rolled warped and was obviously bent. I drove it home and you could feel it shake. Took it to Ready the next day and they gave me a loaner (full tank) at no charge, fixed and realigned the wheels. They washed the car and that was free also. Total bill was $200.00 plus tax. In the past 4 years I have spent a lot more money maintaining and servicing a BMW motorbike that I seldom ride, than this Honda car. Keep up the good work! Jim Barron read more

I had bad experience with this dealer after I chooses the car I want and we agreed on the price when they brought the papers to sign I discovered a lot of hidden fees which I didn't know about and finally I paid $1000 extra than the price I agreed. So I am not recommending this dealer. read more

READY HONDA used to be in the Jane St and Bloor St area. A small garage at the time. the locals would steer clear of this business. Everytime I goto Ready Honda in Mississauga for an oil filter, there would be a poor customer who was ripped off by a Sales Person and the customer would threaten litigation. Do not take your car to Ready Honda. Not only will they break the features on your vehicle, but then the service manager will give you attitude and tell you it was broken when you brought it in. On top of that their car jockeys speed up and down the streets where children are playing. read more

Bought a car from their used lot in October, 2016. Sales guys and business manager were great. The problem I had was the fact that my 2012 certified vehicle, after 5 months, needed new brakes, a new battery and the transmission fluid had never been changed in the car. Apparently they did just enough to make this car pass and basically screw us. We found all this out when we went for an oil change. Took the car back and saw the used car manager. What an asshole. Made us feel like good for nothing idiots. So after having to get new brakes and a transmission flush, he decided to throw in the battery. But guess what? I will never ever step foot in Ready Honda again. read more

I have been a Ready Honda customer for over 10 years now. I live in downtown Toronto however I travel to Ready in Mississauga because of the courteous, efficient service. I have also had to use their body shop and again great service and work well done. They may be a little more expensive than some other places but it is worth the peace of mind. Staff are friendly and very well informed of their jobs. They give you a complimentary wash after your service. They have a comfortable waiting room.
