There's a major for each with a specialized path plus plenty of opportunities for internship and work being located in the tourism heart of Orlando. The campus is beautiful and small so it's hard to get lost. It's designed to look like a resort-ish hotel so you feel like you're learning where you'll be working in the future. I prefer it 10x more than UCF's main campus. The classes are taught by (mostly) great professors that are knowledgable in the industry and have usually worked in the industry themselves. I've thoroughly enjoyed my time at this school and it gets more exciting as I go because I'm getting into my hand selected hospitality electives. The only complaint I have is that a lot of the core hospitality classes can get somewhat repetitive, but I guess that really drills information into your head.

It is one thing to shoot at a paper target in a relaxed environment but we all know if we ever had to defend ourselves the situation would be anything but. Going through live simulations really helps to train you how to react under stressful situations and in different environments. I am a novice shooter so when I first came in Steve gave me instruction on how to properly handle the gun and aim. He gave me a few drills to do so I could work on technique. It is it's the really lovely and modern campus, I noticed palm trees and shrubbery that looked lovely in the area. The church meets in the auditorium/cafeteria/gymnasium area of the school. Hi Missy this is very cleverly designed. Great use of the space. I didn't encounter any teachers or principal, I was this Sunday, so I was there to attend the Mass. The cafeteria tables were very cleverly converted to benches, in this case " church pews". Overall it's lovely property, thank you for letting the local Catholic Diocese build a new church in the area.

They started off as a two-year degree institution and now they have developed bachelors programs and have a program called "Direct Connect" where if you go into a degree that you can start, but not finish in Valencia, you can continue in UCF and you have a guarantee admission to UCF. It also means you get preference as a future admission in UCF if you want to go into a graduate program. With Direct Connect you can also enroll in UCF, but take classes in Valencia, if transportation or location is an issue for you; and these courses count as UCF credits. Finally, not only do they continue to grow and have 4 campuses between Osceola Campus and Orange County, with several attainable degrees, they also offer financial aid programs, scholarships and grants. Actually, they have around 25,000 students you get grants. The career center counselor is an A-hole and he will make you feel like you can't make it in life. He needs to work on how to talk to people. The cafeteria doesn't make your food with love. Plus some of the professors are not doing a good job on helping students learn. You will leave confused out of these classes. On the plus side the Library staff is great and the writing center. They will make sure to help you in whatever you need. This used to be such a great campus but now I am just never coming back for sure.
