I was looking to buy a matching jersey for his 1 yo son but was having the hardest time finding baby sizes. After chatting with an employee via phone, I stopped by Soccer Mall and was elated to find that they had a Barcelona toddler set! The kid sets come with a shirt/jersey, shorts, and socks. Unfortunately, they didn't have anything in the current season for kids; it was from the 2017-2018 season. Since it was close in color scheme to the current season (and I couldn't find the current season anywhere else) I went ahead and got it. The Soccer Mall personalized the jersey for $15. It was ready in a couple of days and it looked so cute! The man who helped me was very friendly and helpful. The store was very neat and organized. The next time I'm looking to buy anything futbol (football) related, Soccer Mall will be my first stop.

Devon changes practice time, misses practice, and now wants to cancel a tournament that the parents have already paid for. I also have seen very little improvement in my grandson's team. I WOULD NEVER recommend joining a Sereno league team. They charge a lot of money and the kids learn very little. Shame on Sereno!!!!!

If I could give this league a zero I would. We played a team and it was VERY obvious that the…read moreparents paid the ref's to be shady cheaters. It's unfortunate that a simple kids soccer game could turn into a political pay off. The parents were cussing at our kids, yelling at the parents and the ref was making calls to benefit the home team. A kid on our team was throwing the ball in and a kid from the other team went behind him (as he was throwing the ball in) and PUSHED him. It was completely obvious and the ref didn't do anything, that should have been a RED card. The parents should be ashamed that they are raising their kids to be cheaters rather than play the game the right way. I am not a racist person and I am ashamed of my own race because of the way the parents on the other team acted toward our defense, yelling racial slurs. After the f"u@k boy ref was obviously paid off and added 10 minutes to the game, this is when the other team scored and won. Their sorry team scored off a penalty kick and their team was clearly offsides both times. We know our boys played a clean honest game. Karma will come back and bite you in the a** when we play your cheating team again.

When researching different clubs, all the mega machines kept coming up but after a couple of tryouts with those clubs we were feeling a little unsure that we really wanted to allow our then 10 year old to give up bring a kid, and have to fork out thousands in club fees, uniform costs, and to top off crazy travel costs. We were lucky to find FC Batavia. From day one it was evident that all the coaches were concerned with not only attracting talented players who already had a lot of skill but also on continuing to develop these players. Coach Rick Tilmans and husbanding staff of coaches are the reason we will forever be Batavians! GO FCB!

We loved her coach and they put her on a predominantly girl team (which she loved) with a girl coach. I wish that I was able to do this with my older daughter because she strongly disliked the co-ed team where she was almost always the only girl. I love that there is no pressure for a parent to volunteer to coach and the coaches are actually experienced. The practices are always very organized and fun. The kids are learning and definitely enjoying the activities. I have read a negative review and I am sure there are bad seed coaches everywhere but we LOVE our coach, she is friendly and engaging. We will definitely continue to go through North Valley Soccer Club.

So, I decided to go check it out for myself and was pleasantly surprised. I visited on a weekday, in September, at 4 PM and the temperature was about 102° These are my observations: 1. very clean playground areas with sand and rubberized surfaces 2. Both playground areas have large sun blocking canopies 3. Covered picnic table with single grill 4. Very well maintained ball field 5. Drinking fountains that we're functioning and had good tasting cool water. Yes, I even drink out of them 6. City of Phoenix maintenance personnel came to the property while I was visiting and emptied the trash containers 7. four basketball hoops, with intact back boards and the little chain netting thing that dangles from the hoop we're all intact 8. Initially the park was almost empty When I arrived to explore, but around 415 some high school kids walked over from the school across the street. Shortly after I observed three adults who in the large grassy area stretching their muscles, then another adult came with his dog and was playing in the field. 9. This park Is situated far enough from 16th street and Wescott Road to keep small kids safe from cars. 10.
