I also didn't want to have to "stage my home". Fast forward to Minol. What a great job Minol did of showing me how to downsize the furniture in my living room and bedrooms to show them off. I was kicking and screaming at the thought of changing things around because it was a lot to do, but our house sold with the first person to look at it. Now that we are moved and are looking for a new home I am amazed at how hard it is to really "see" the houses on the MLS through all of the owners "things". I get so frustrated that many times I pass up on a beautiful home because it is too hard to envision myself with all their things cluttering up the rooms. I told her the look I was going for and she delivered way above my expectations. My house was absolutely stunning. I had 5 offers way above asking and was under contract within a week of listing the house!!! She understood the neighborhood and the people who would want to live there. Her advise on which rooms to stage and which to leave empty was spot on. She adds so many extra details to each room that other stagers just don't do. Staging a house makes ALL the difference when selling a home. Jackie is much more than a home stager, she is clearly a professional interior designer. And Jaya Home staging is the only stager I'll ever use in Austin.

In the end, we arrived at a wonderful, elegant, warm environment for our future in the house. Successive recruitment in the high tech field had led our family around the country and to Europe. When we landed in central Texas, our Austin home was the first one that we committed to decorating in an attractive cohesive fashion, instead of just shoving around the hodge podge of furniture and furnishings we'd accumulated. She took pains to incorporate the pieces we already possessed when possible and showed us how to think through the day to day needs of household, as well as making the house one in which we would be proud to entertain friends and business associates.
