AmaZing! I couldn't believe how difficult it was to find a decent shoe repair shop. My shoes were so comfy at work, its just been killing me to wear others lately so I finally thought it would've worth it to fix them, even tho they ate a tiny but chewed up, courtesy of my 5 yr old frenchie who must've mistook them for an 8oz Ribeye or something. But I couldn't believe the one place that was close to home with a reasonable price, called The Cleaners, only has one guy who works on shoes one day of the week only and apparently somehow survives on working a whopping 2-3 hours a week. Unless this was just a side gig, .idk but they said he'd be there at least past noon, but when I got there at 11:45 am, wouldn't u know it, he had already left and wouldn't be back til the following Tues (a week later) so the people in there recommended a place closeby (another 7min away), Happy Shoes. Cute ring to it and so I ventured onward to a place that actually works every day. I couldn't believe the price !! They wanted $70! I about fell over!! Ridiculous!!! AND it was gonna take them a week to fix, so I may as well have just gone with the first guy !! I wanted to cry at this point, but the employee there recommended i take them to another place only 7min away.... Again!! But I was getting desperate... So off i traveled to Renu Shoe Repair, which basically consists of a little old cobbler working out of the back of an actual barber shop. It had its charm. He didn't accept cc tho, only cash or Venmo and it was prepaid only. But literally HALF the price of the former shop!!! Sigh. . Smh... As I no longer have Venmo and don't usually carry cash, I was bummed at the inconvenience after all the stores id traveled already and was exhausted as I work nights and hadn't been to bed yet. The man must've sensed this however, and told me just to bring it with when I picked them up. He said he'd have them ready in 2days!! Yayyyy! I was so grateful! But the next day, I was called into work that day last minute til 5pm, so I called to see how I'd be able to get them and they were already ready, the very next day!!! Double yay---I got to the shop, picked up my shoes that, aside from some teeth marks, looked brand new!! I'm so so pleased! Beyond grateful!! Unless they fall apart on me, in which case, I'll update my review of course, I give Renu Shoe Repair the highest marks!! Only sux that they're 20 min from home !! Lol. read more

Had new soles put on Red Wing Steel Toed work boots. Quoted $80-90 (high price) but then new boots are $200-300. First surprise charged $120 when boots picked up. Second surprise was that new soles dis-bonded after several days!! Avoid steep price and poor work quality. read more

Shoe repair services are not something alot of people use constantly, but I absolutely loved this place for my need. I found this place con owner to another errand I frequent in the area, and I am glad I gave them a try. I bought my shoes thrifted, so I was willing to spend a bit in getting the strap and soles repaired. It was nothing super crazy but I planned to spend more than what I did. The guy here is super nice and efficient in what he does. I love the work that they do here. In fact, I think it's the best craftsmanship I've seen from a cobbler that I drive from Elbert County to drop my shoes off here because the quality is so good. Every time I bring in my high heels they not only repair the heels but also add on additional backing for the soles so they have better grip and last longer. During the pandemic it looks like they did some remodeling and they've added a barber shop to the space, so the shoe repair space is quite a bit smaller, but luckily it's the same owner that serves both. read more

The staff was friendly and it was a cute tiny shop that shared a space with a barber. I had never gotten shoes repaired before and just always bought new ones instead but my uggs were pretty expensive when I bought them and even though they are about 12 years old they were still in good shape minus the bottom part completely detaching from the rest of the shoe. I really didn't want to buy a whole new pair. I didn't know how much to expect for shoe repair but $40 seemed pretty steep to just essentially glue the bottoms back on the shoes. I haven't had a chance to wear the shoes since the repair but we will see how they hold up. I took away one star because of the price and another because of the very limited hours. I had to squeeze in time during my lunch break to drop off my shoes and pick them back up. They aren't open on the weekends and close at 5pm during the week. The repairs were completed in less than a week. read more

What a fantastic small business! I'm handicapped and needed the tongue of a hiking boot cut and sealed on the cut edges so I can fit my ankle brace into the boot. The owner invited me to come right down and he would do the work same day as he was leaving for a trip and would be gone for a week. This shop is awesome! I brought in several pump which had seen better days. The tips were worn and the heals were scuffed and needed replacing. One even needed part of the sole replaced. The results look like new shoes - and for a fraction of the cost. Even where the sole was replaced - it is feathered in and matched so you cannot tell. Edward is a very good shop owner and shoe repair man. Taps I believe are the plastic half moon tapped on the bottom of your heels to save the wear on your actual heels. Not the best for communication--didn't call me to let me know that he could fix my shoes or that they were ready for pick up. However, hard to argue with results.
