St. Marks Pl., Palatine 60067 for one year. It was the most horrible rental experience. Everything and anything went wrong in the place. The appliances were old, the washing machine wasn't working when we moved in, the dryer wasn't drying clothes properly after a while, we had ants, the garage door worked improperly, the toilet seats constantly fell off, the toilet handle was improperly installed on one of the toilets. The carpet was soiled in the basement but, insisted it was cleaned. The window blinds were old and always falling down. One of the balcony doors leaked constantly when it rained. The stair banister handle broke. The master bedroom closet shelving broke down not once but twice. The kitchen faucet broke. Every time we had to contact her with the many of the problems we had it was always questioned in "what did you do?" It was a hassle to get anything repaired or replaced. After all this, we decided to vacate at the end of of our lease. We had the property clean, and everything was in working condition and we had the carpets professionally cleaned. It was horrible to get any answers regarding our security deposit of $3000. She took her time and nit-picked everything. Finally we heard a response from her claiming that we damaged her property, especially the refrigerator and the stove, and didn't clean her carpet well enough. These appliances were old but they weren't damaged and they were in working condition. She thinks that they were damaged so she had to purchase a new refrigerator and stove and have the carpet re-cleaned and that cost us a $1000. After getting our remaining $2000 security deposit back. She fixed up her place on our dime and is now selling her property as well as renting it out! She shouldn't be a realtor or a landlord! Don't buy or rent this place!

I appreciated all she put into preparing for our initial call and feel she would be an excellent choice for helping sell a home. Not only does she know what she's doing, she's a normal person--a rational, trustworthy voice to guide me through what could be a very emotional process. If you've got a house to sell in the Mt. She was incredibly thorough, sending us properties she knew we would like and researching properties we had found on our own. Her response time was phenomenal, she went out of her way to ensure that all of our needs were met in a timely manner. Agnes also negotiated the cost of repairs into the sale of the home so we would not have to take on any additional costs. Our first loan officer dropped the ball on our closing and Agnes came in and took control of the situation. She recommended a new loan officer and even got the fees that our initial loan officer had caused us to incur, dropped. I felt completely comfortable working with Agnes, she made our home buying experience a breeze! I cannot say enough good things about her and Baird and Warner and I will be recommending both to all of my family and friends.

Even though we had a hard time deciding between single family homes (Detached) and town homes/Condos (Attached), Ryan was always patient with us. He was with us every step of the way with great insights on affordability, explaining how home offers work, even when we decided to switch our search locations! No matter the twists and turns we presented (I'm sorry Ryan!!), Ryan stood by our side the entire process. In fact, he was a mentor for us, who went to essentially EVERY single house we wanted to see, who gave valuable opinions and insights on every home and even the area where the home was located. He checked in with us and made sure we actually loved the house instead of pushing us towards a home to make a quick sale. Ryan is the kind of real estate agent you would want; patient, will educate you during the whole process, and will ensure you're taken care of during the whole process!

Ryan was down to earth and walked us through each step, always respectful of our situation and perspective while providing honest and insightful counsel. We had to sell our condo due to unemployment, it was an emotionally difficult process but Ryan and his team were always supportive and compassionate. Ryan went above and beyond in terms of availability and providing hands on help. This process could have been an absolute nightmare with a lesser realtor, but we always felt safe guided by Ryan's expertise.

She gave a pitch that was thorough, and set a price that was higher than other agents'. It took more than two months to get one offer, despite have many showings and getting positive feedback from people who toured the house. The price was lowered repeatedly. And this was when houses were selling super fast during the pandemic (spring-summer 2021). I eventually realized she "bought the listing", as several neighbors had suggested. When I asked her why there were no offers sooner, she mentioned two obstacles (being across from a park, and not having a big backyard); and said she didn't know they would pose problems. Seriously? My house finally sold for more than $60,000 below the original list price. Very dissatisfactory.

I had unenthusiastically decided that I would need the help of a realtor to sell a condo I had lived in and owned for 30 years, because I was then living 140 miles away. I was unenthusiastic and reluctant because I am an independent and DIY kind of guy. Nevertheless, my wife and I interviewed several realtors in the Arlington Heights area. We knew in ten minutes we had a match when we met Sue. What impressed us was her calm, mature, friendly, thoughtful, humble and relatable demeanor and the fact that she did not push herself on us despite what we later learned were her manifest qualifications and experience. My point is, Sue is the real deal as a person and you will love working with her. She will tell it like it is and you'll want to hear it. For me, Sue has a great deal of personal credibility and earned my trust early with her nuanced thinking and analysis. She also has a lively sense of humor which, believe me, can serve anyone well in this sometimes fraught and emotional undertaking of real estate sales. Sue guided me through a minefield of difficult decisions in the worst months of the Covid-19 crisis in the spring and summer of 2020. Then she rationally and sympathetically helped me keep the faith through the disappointment of losing two early sales (for reasons beyond our control or influence) until we finally "got our plane on the ground and to the terminal", as our lawyer, Collin Gilbert of Palatine, put it. He was recommended by Sue and turned out to be a great choice. I recommend him as well for his hard work, communications skills and wise advice. I felt that Sue was in the game - my game - with both her head and her heart from the start. I would unconditionally recommend her to anyone seeking a delightful partner and an experienced guide in their real estate journey. If you call her, say "hey" from me.
