You all need to make sure to tell your cashiers that they need to be friendly to customers even if they may be having a bad day. The cashier didn't seem to care about customers or working there. No smile, no "Hi! How are you?".

Today my daughter and I went to donate clothing to Value Village and a full sized boxed truck from Treasures in Heaven was in line in front of us. Once they pulled up to the unloading area it and started to unload in became apparent this was a loaded full box truck, unloading for well over 30 minutes while cars piled up in line and the driver and passenger did very little to assist in the unloading process while the entire VV team worked their butts off. I doubt the fact people are donating to this Christian organization and simply having it turned over to Value Village is what people donating are hoping for. This is also incredibly rude behavior on behalf of Treasures as the line is nearly out of the parking lot, people are abandoning the line foregoing donating. Many of the boxes are taped shut so the VV workers have to open them prior to accepting them slowing the process further. Treasures is dumping their unwanted inventory at the Issaquah Value Village, holding up the line, hogging up the employees and inconveniencing dozens of people simply trying to do a nice thing. I'm writing this review because I find this behavior extremely unbecoming of Treasures and likely deceptive to those donating there, furthermore it is inconsiderate on multiple levels.

I even asked if she was a "Christian woman" she was the manager of the store she was very unfriendly I was also was ganged up on with another employee while I was talking and employee was talking interrupting me and the manager . I had permission to try on another dress in exchange to the dress that had the tags tagged still on , but was demanded only 4 minutes and dressing rooms were closing. I was treated very discriminating, when explaining to the manager "I need to feel safe. ' the horribly behaving manager explained " I can leave and in fact if I didn't leave "she would" call the police" and she did call the police and had me banned from the store . Very inappropriately and bullied out of the store with no trespassing. Awful awful experience. I even cried calling my Husband and calling the police myself of the bullying discrimination behavior on the manager part. discriminating and getting away with it because she's being quote "manager' I work here in town and I do not feel safe with her coming into my establishment from the bully behavior experience at which I thought was a Christian establishment at The Helping hands thrift store. I'm hoping the management will be reprimanded for this hateful act. I also Do not feel safe with her coming into the environment where I work. Very Hateful act

The person was very helpful, and careful of some of the glass items that I dropped off. I hope that this offers a great selection to some of their future shoppers and helps increase their revenue for the programs they support. I believe the value of these items is unique, and will allow someone to get more life out of the items we donated. It's a great cause.

Today however after visiting this Value Village, which I frequent, I just had to leave my 2 star review. The staff in the store are friendly, the store is clean, and there are an abundant amount of clothing & housewares, thus why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. But here's my problem with this store - the prices are outrageous. I wanted to leave this review months ago when at that time prices were ridiculous but I visited today and couldn't believe the astronomical prices. The economy is in the tank yet you keep raising your prices??? There are no dressing rooms so if I buy your $20-30 jeans and they don't fit I can only exchange them, not get a refund and I only have two weeks to do so. I found clothing priced at $40 & $50, granted new with tag but not brands worth that inflated price. Shoes average $17 or more now. I haven't bought shoes there in quite some time. These items are donated, why price them so high the average person can't afford them. I really think you need to rethink your pricing strategy, you've finally out priced me as a customer.

More craziness. To charge more than it is new? And leave the tag on? Come on now..
