We signed a contract with this company in early April, provided a full 4-week lead time, and even…read moregave a 40% deposit at the time of signing. Everything appeared to be moving forward until just 4 days before the scheduled completion date, when the sales representative informed us they had "misquoted" the project and that it would now cost several thousand dollars more. This was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Changing the agreed price at the last minute after a signed contract and deposit had already been provided put us in a very difficult position, especially now that most contractors are already booked for the summer season. We understand mistakes can happen, but honoring signed agreements and communicating accurate pricing are basic expectations. Unfortunately, our experience showed a lack of accountability and reliability, and we cannot recommend this company based on how this situation was handled.

Jason and the guys at Gateway Roofing were nothing short of excellent…read more After extensive research and many quotations we decided upon Gateway Roofing to remove and re-shingle our single family home. I immediately found Jason to be very professional, and it was clear from the very beginning that he takes much pride in his work. The team's attention to detail was consistant from beginning to end, up to and including their commitment to clean up after the job is done. Jason's straight forward communication style makes him a pleasure to deal with. And his hand picked staff reflect his commitment to the job and to the customer. We appreciated his work so much, that we hired him again soon after for another project to add insulation our attic. I would hire Gateway Roofing and Contracting for future projects without a second thought. And I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation!

It's placed directly in a high-traffic area at the main entrance, but they blamed us for "stepping on it" -- which is unavoidable. They initially offered to replace it, then completely stopped responding. It's been over a week with no follow-up, no repair, and no accountability. If you're looking for a contractor who stands behind their work and actually responds to issues, I would not recommend this company. Poor service, poor communication, and no long-term solution.

One of the worst contractor experiences I've ever had - absolutely avoid this company at all costs,…read morecompany is little more than a scam. Had a quote in 2020 for a spring job to be completed. Very basic single family home eaves replacement. Once spring came I got weekly excuses on why they couldn't do the work and needed more time throughout the spring and summer (constant delays at other projects, no shows for days I was promised, flat tires in there trucks) and every other excuse imaginable. Finally 6 months after initial work was to be done they tell me they can't do the work because of the location of the house (which they had been to multiple times). Watse of a full calender year of excuses to fight to get my deposit back.
