My son enjoyed a week RBskate camp with Mr. Briceno. He said it's the best camp for this summer. At first, I was worried about the safety of skateboarding, but I was overthinking of it. Mr. Briceno teaches and shows kids how to fall to protect themselves not get injured. He is very professional. I have recommended RBskate camp to my friends.

Rene is a great instructor. He also walked us through buying all the gear. My son really enjoys learning how to skateboard. I am glad Rene offers a skateboarding class and exposes kids to a whole new world rather than just your regular sports.

My daughter has felt much more confidence in learning how to skateboard. To me, I feel like this camp not only helps her achieve her goals in skateboarding, but also helps her overcome obstacles. She has definitely improved a lot over the time of only one week. Overall, this is a great camp for learning how to skateboard and building up self confidence.

It can get really crowded with kids though, which makes it hard to skate around since they can be unpredictable. I prefer the adults-only sessions. They have a lot of benches to sit down. They also have available lockers to rent. The bathrooms are decent. They also have the store in the building which offer services too, which is convenient. They also have vending machines and a food bar at the second floor. Parking can be a challenge before another shift ends. But after they leave, it's enough for the next batch.

There was no charge to skate, though the skating pass price of $12 posted online is not bad, especially without the $3 skate rental cost (since I have my own rollerblades). This place is quite simple. A small shoe cubbies storage unit against the wall, a few seats and tables outside the rink, a restroom in the back, socks and snacks (water, chips, gatorade) sold behind the counter, and friendly staff making everyone feel welcome. The rink had a smooth and sturdy surface, creating an ideal skating experience. It was surrounded by plexiglass, able to withstand the barrage of kids crashing into the walls. Tiny disco balls hung from the ceiling, along with colorful decorative string lights. Mainly hip hop and rnb music played through the speakers, a song list including Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder, I Want To Be Your Man by Zapp, and Don't Stop Til You Get Enough by the king of pop. The skating rink was small but never felt crowded. There was plenty of space to glide freely, and it was easy to dodge the kids. Even the skate aids didn't take up a lot of space or get in the way. It was a pleasant experience, a carefree atmosphere with everyone just having a good time. Skate Escape was a great option for a rainy day activity to enjoy while in the area.

This is easily one of the most interesting places in SF, hands down. We had a chance to pay our respects by way of celebrating my best friend's birthday here. What a find...! Decked out with disco lights, the church glows vibrantly against the backdrop of its stained glass windows. Music of all eras reverberates through the high ceilings, a welcome greeting to all. I didn't realize that we were graced with the presence of the Godfather of Skate, D. himself! I should have done my research earlier. He casually swung by, in full purple regalia, and gave my struggling newbie self some tips. Within 10 mins, I was skating without shaking at all??? I never got to properly thank him...! I'll be sure to next time. NOTE: Bring cash to rent skates!
