Despite being the oldest person** here by at least a few years, I still had a great time during my visit. No trip to Barcelona is complete without checking out some nightlife, and a Diplo show was the perfect excuse to check out Razzmatazz and do exactly that. Tix were around 25 bucks (not bad) and we were easily able to purchase them online a few hours before the show. Once inside I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was actually plenty of breathing room. It helped that we got there before Diplo and during the opener, but it didn't feel nearly as claustrophobic as other similar venues back home in NYC. I'm not a huge fan of standing in the middle of a crowded pit and we were able to snag a seat overlooking the stage in the upper level balcony area. We still had a great view of the stage and were situated directly next to the bar. **Despite all of this awesomeness, we were the only people on said balcony. Apparently thats a perk when you are the oldest person in the club. Whatevs. Not complaining** Bottom line: If you are less of a club goer and are more into the bar scene then this might not be your first pick for a night out. Butttttttt..... if you are in Barcelona, enjoy music and feel tempted to take a peak at the club scene then Razzmatazz is not the worst option.

Easily my favorite club experience in Europe. It's accessible and there's no crazy dress code or bouncers that don't like your face and willt urn you away. The cover is about 10-12 Euro and you get a really heavily poured mix drink or beer along with that. A beer is 5 Euro. Inside, the place is literally a sea of people. Going on the weekend, they open up even more rooms and each one plays a bit different music, but is just as big as the next. On the top, there's an outdoor balcony to cool off, sit down on the bleachers, and have a cigarette. In the main room, you can go on the second story and sit down with your legs hanging over the crowd and watch as thousands upon thousands are dancing and enjoying themselves. I must remind those who have never been to Barcelona though, the nightlife starts late. Don't start going to clubs until 1-2:00AM. So be prepared by sleeping later, eating later, and drinking later, as you'll be dancing later. This defined the peak of nightlife on my Europe trip and I can't wait to go back when I'm in Barcelona.

    Very strong drinks!

Before planning my 1.5 week trip to Spain, I obviously did some research on all the crazy clubs my boyfriend and I should go to in Barcelona, having heard of the crazy nightlife. Someone should have told me those reviews and articles I read were meant for teeny-boppers. My two picks were Razzmatazz and Apolo. I'll be writing a review for Apolo shortly after this. I had bought tickets ahead of time online. First off, you should know that clubs like the this are meant for kids 16 and younger. I had just turned 27 that summer... We came at 1am and it was empty. There were a few kids hanging on the rooftop. We stuck around for an hour. Some kid tried hitting on me and we left shortly. NOT WORTH THE MONEY OF YOU'RE AND ADULT- GO TO LEGIT CLUBS LIKE OPIUM AND PACHA!!! At least you get a legitimate concert DJ performance. PS- interestingly enough, the credit card I used to book razzmatazz and Apolo online got HACKED immediately after I made the purchases. Beware...

A great night with great people :)

As an American studying abroad at LSE, obviously we want to travel as much as possible. Our travels brought us to Barcelona, where again we wanted to go to the most popular clubs. Razzmatazz was first on our list and living in twenty tu, our hostel was super close by and about a 5 min walk. The music was great and they actually have live djs there. They played typical EDM which is perfect for dancing. It's very big, with two large rooms on the main floor, and 3 floors in total. There're a lot of bars so you'll never have to go too long without alcohol :) One thing though, your hostel might try to rip you off by selling you a "voucher" for 3 euros that will get you to the front of the line. Then, you're supposed to pay an additional 22 euros at the club. They say it's cheaper but me and my friends discovered it's actually supposed to 17 euros in addition to the 3 for a total of 20, not 25 euros. SO make sure you don't get ripped off and I promise it'll be a great night! It also doesn't close until 6-7am so I would say get there around 1am. If you come too late you'll miss the live DJ! (He stopped around 330am)

So much fun! Went on a Wednesday night in March and it was PACKED! Usually free before 1am or 2am, it depends, but I got tickets for 12€ which included 2 drinks so overall a pretty good deal. It got super full at like 2ish and was a combination of tourists and locals, definitely recommend!

Big dance floor, terrible (rap) music on the night I went, (underage)crowd, people were too high. Long lines, bad&expensive drinks, period.

Moog is small, literally underground, and the electronic music you'll find here is genuine. Not the commercial nonsense typical of a big, touristy venue. ENGLISH I visited Opium Barcelona on Tuesday night (Jan 20,…read more2026) during a business trip with several colleagues. Our group had already spent a significant amount of money at the venue the night before, so this experience was especially disappointing. During the evening, I bought a bottle of water at the upper bar. While briefly speaking with a colleague (around 10 seconds), I placed the bottle on the lower bar counter opposite the cloakroom. A staff member immediately removed it. When I approached her right away and explained that I had just purchased it, she refused to return it or provide a replacement. The bigger issue was not the drink, but the way I was treated. The employee, who gave the name "Georgina" (tall, slim, brown hair), spoke no English at all and reacted in a very dismissive and disrespectful way. Instead of trying to understand the situation, she made a hand gesture telling me to go away. Her tone and behavior were rude and confrontational, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. For an international club of this reputation, it is surprising that staff in direct contact with guests cannot communicate even basic English or handle a simple situation professionally. The interaction left me with a very negative impression and a clear feeling of being treated without respect or basic courtesy. Because of this experience, I would not feel comfortable returning, and I believe other guests should be aware of how situations like this can be handled here.

Our tattoo artist recommended Antilla on Wednesday nights because that's 'Salsa night'. We went the next day but we could not keep up! Information You Should Know: - Yes, Wednesday nights are Salsa nights. Maybe a little Bachata. - It was free to get in but there's a catch... you're given a beverage ticket requiring you to purchase a drink at the bar and ONLY then can you leave. So, you get a piece of paper at the door, hand it to the bartender, pay for your drink, and get new piece of paper allowing you to leave whenever you want. I honestly love this concept! You get something in return instead of just paying a cover like you do in the US. - So You Think You Can Dance? I thought I could but once I saw the level of skill on the dance floor I moved and stayed sipping my Gin and Tonic. It was very intimidating! But it was a lot of fun watching others effortlessly dance all around. - Friendly towards tourists- We were a group of 4 and clearly not locals but we felt so comfortable being here! No one looked at us differently or treated us any differently. Overall, if you are a good dancer then you will love this place. If you're a beginner like me then maybe not so much. Oh... my... goodness!…read more I had some trepidation about coming here for our traditional Christmas day repas, because of this place's mediocre rating (3.2 stars as of last night). That said, the vast majority of their Yelp ratings refer to their Disco that starts up in the evening... but we were there for a special Christmas menu in the early afternoon. We got there about 1:30 and were greeted by a staff member (at street level) that radioed the restaurant (at beach level) that we'd arrived. We were greeted by the maitre'd who seated us alongside a window with an unobstructed view of the beach in the foreground and the Mediterranean behind that. We'd pre-ordered the special "Menu Nadal," (Christmas menu). For the starter, my wife had the cannelloni with shredded chicken and mushrooms (with pine nuts, arugula and parmesan) and I had the traditional Catalan stew with a rich assortment of meats, vegetables, pasta shells and an amazing broth. Both plates were absolutely outstanding. Our second main course was roasted sea bass (with potatoes and zucchini, a prawn and an amazing sauce). The folks at the next table had the beef confit, which they swore was as good as it gets. The meal was accompanied by a bottle of a very tasty rioja, and topped off with a scrumptious dessert... apple strudel with a vanilla sauce and a scoop of really good pistachio ice cream. ...followed by a second dessert of assorted turrones and wafers. Oh, and a really nice coffee to top it off. Oh, and a "chupito" at the end. My wife went for the Baileys, and I had a very nice Limoncello. In all, we were there for a good 2.5 hours. In all that time, the wait staff was very attentive but not at all obtrusive. Their comportment made me think they were all co-owners whose very livelihood depended upon how WE were treated. I mean, really... these guys made our meal into a truly extraordinary experience. I can't speak about their disco at night but this experience was absolutely FIVE STAR. Way to go! We'll be back!
