Before the exam, many text messages were sent helping prep electronically paperwork was offered in advance to speed up the check which I took advantage of. Upon arrival, I was greeted with the kindest receptionist who took time to recommend that I call my insurance to verify that a 3D mammogram would be covered since I wasn't at the 40 year old threshold and there was a funky note on my chart that she had never seen before. Please note, it is recommended to get one at 35 these days so I am still confused why the note said anything. Regardless, it was covered and I moved into the next step. Changing was intimate and there were lockers and gowns to leverage. The x ray tech / imaging employee was easy going which was nice as this is not the most comfortable event to attend. Post imaging, I got to pick out some pink awareness swag and opted for a pen and chapstick. There were other options like a ice pack and water bottle too. I had previous scans at Diagnostic Centers of America and Rayus recently bought DCA. I called on February 13 and spoke with a nice woman, who set the appointment for February 28. On February 27 at 4:16pm I got a text to reschedule the appointment. I called the number, and I was put on the never-ending hold until the call dropped. Florida Blue showed they didn't even request approval until 2/26. The appointment was rescheduled for 3/8. On 3/7 they still did not have approval for the MRI so I called Florida Blue and I actually got the approval code. Maybe they should have paid me for doing the work? The MRI was done on 3/8. I received a pre-visit check in and needed to pay $496.95 before going to the facility. The West Boca Location is fabulous. Staff is excellent and thankfully, the technician mentioned that I should get a copy of the scan before I leave. My doctor NEVER received the scans. I received the results on the portal 2 days later, but the doctor never got them. I called Rayus 3 times. 1st time was told a disc would be sent to the doctor. 2nd time they told me they don't send the doctor the results and I could download the scans and email them to the doctor, and the 3rd time, I got a voice mail, left a message that was NEVER returned. Fast forward to 4/15. I got an invoice from Rayus for $402.66 with no record of the original payment of $496.95. I called 4/17 and reached Sharise. She said the payment posted on 4/10 (1 month later?) and I had a credit balance. She was supposed to email me a copy of the new invoice that day, but I NEVER received it. I checked my account today 4/27 and guess what...no payment posted, and there's still an outstanding balance. Spoke with Jackie today, she said she could see the payment, but it hasn't been posted to the invoice. What?? This is a poor way to do business. Get your act together...You're dealing with people's health. When I see things like this, especially billing issues, It just raises so many red flags.

On Tuesday, May 30, 2017, I had an appointment at 7:30 AM at Suburban Imaging. My doctor and I have…read morebeen trying to figure out what is causing some health issues, so he ordered a CT scan. From the phone call to set up the appointment, to picking up the contrast for the test, to the exam itself, the service, professionalism and respect that was shown from all the people with whom I interacted was first-rate. When you're getting an unfamiliar exam, it's nice to have people put you at ease. The facility is easy-to-get-to, super clean (VERY important to me!), and there was a nice private room where you can change and lock up all your personal belongings. The exam itself was easy, and not like what I thought. It wasn't a complete chamber, but it wasn't as loud as what I thought CT scanners would be. Again, this piece of equipment was more like a donut. Mmmm. Donuts. I wish I could remember the name of the person who helped me with the exam. She was so professional, friendly, and kind. It made the entire process, including the IV, more pleasant for me. I truly appreciate it. And to top it all off, three days later, I received a thank you card in the mail that was signed by two people from Suburban Imaging. You don't see that every day from healthcare facilities!

I have been going to the Minneapolis VA for a very long time and I have noticed a huge change over the years in the facility as well as services provided. This year I have noticed the largest change in the staff. The staff has been amazing and the services provided have been second to none. I do not have a bad thing to say or a single complaint. The facility is very clean and the services have been very quick. A majority of the staff will greet you with a smile and seem eager to help you. The doctors have all been amazing and the pharmacy has been very organized and quick. The online support and the meeting with the doctors via the VAs app are great but my one complaint is that the app is very simple and does not give many options to adjust your camera. This however does not take away from the top knotch service the doctors provide. I want to let the staff you that they are all appreciated and to keep up the good work.
