While I was filling out my paperwork, a man came in and started apologizing rather loudly for his girlfriend's rude behavior a couple days earlier, which was also off putting. Once it was time for my MRI, I changed, then went into the MRI room. The person giving my MRI offered me headphones to listen to music of my choice, which was nice, because MRI machines are quite noisy. About a week later, I received very thorough results and notes from the doctor. Hopefully, I will not need a MRI again anytime soon, but if I do, I will choose another location.

I asked her to pass my comment onto her supervisor and again she recited that it has never been an issue before. I left feeling very disrespected by these two young women. They were incredibly weird about it. They wanted to know the name of the Uber driver who will pick me up (how should I know who will accept the ride in an hour??). Then they told me it was only 15 minutes (I would not have asked for sedation if I knew it was 15 minutes)They made me schedule an Uber while they are watching (I kid you not), and then proceeded to be 20 minutes late so I almost missed the Uber. And in the meantime, they make me bring the phone back again and prove yet again I booked an Uber. I didn't appreciate a) the bad information given to me, b) unfriendly, unwelcoming receptionist that made me feel like I am a criminal or something, c) their tardiness (there was no one else waiting) d) repeated proof that I called an Uber. As if I would take an Uber and drive back? how does that even make sense? Horrible place, they probably pay very little and get low quality front office. I get that they are worried about liability, but treating someone like a liar, multiple times, and giving bad information is uncalled for. This place charged me 1500 or so for a 15 minute imaging, yet they can't seem to hire competent front staff that treats you with dignity. I would find a different MRI place, clearly this place seem to be more about maximizing profits. Also make sure to open the SMS message that confirms your appointment because there is a link at the very end to fill forms (which is not at all obvious). Most places that confirm appointment do not burry additional to do's at the very end (which is very easy to miss if you just see the preview of the message and assume it's just confirmation. This place has a long way to go to be customer friendly.

They treat patience with respect and kindness. I arrived early, and the MRI technicians saw me early. They prepped my expectations and answered all my questions very well. Prior to working at OHSU, I worked at Mayo Clinic for many years. Ian well versed on quality healthcare, and my experience at Legacy rivals the quality of Mayo. I'm very pleased.

Most likely due to a medication I'm taking - let's hope so anyway. I must have been the last appt of the day as when I got to the hospital the place was absolutely dead. It was quiet like a library. Even got a parking spot on the street right across the street. How does THAT happen in downtown Portland??? But don't fret, they have free valet parking at the front entrance. Just pull up and a nice man comes out, gives you a pickup ticket and parks your car for you. Anyway, I had already checked in online -if you don't do this ahead of time you really need to. It saves so much time and you you don't have to answer all the same questions over and over or pull out your ID and proof of insurance cards. At the door I was COVID-screened and then checked in at the Main Desk. I was directed to take the elevator to the 2nd floor, make a left and go to the door that says "Ultrasound" and wait. Someone would come out for me. The signage is a little confusing and I ended up in the radiology waiting room. No worries. The radiology technician came out and found me and took me into a waiting ultrasound procedure room. I was told to lay down on the table (no need to undress) and she began by putting some warmed gel on the ultrasound probe and placed it on my stomach. First she scanned my VERY FULL bladder. I had to drink and hold 32 oz of water one hour before my appt. This is sometimes difficult for females like me over a certain age, but gosh darn, I did it! Then she moved up to scan both kidneys. It took about 15 minutes total. No pain. No discomfort (except my nerves wondering when I'd get the results). When she said "You are free to go" I thanked her, hurried to the nearest bathroom and then back out to my car. This morning I had the test results in my email "Urinary bladder is of normal configuration" and both kidneys were "Normal size and appearance. No hydronephrosis (swelling), renal stones, or soft tissue masses identified." They even measured them!!! How many people know the actual size of their kidneys??? The whole process was easy, went smoothly, I'm thankful and relieved. and every person I encountered was kind and welcoming. I was glad the hospital was so quiet too. So, the moral of this story is, don't be afraid of getting an ultrasound, it's easy peasy at the Legacy Good Samaritan Imaging & Radiology Dept. And they all lived happily ever after...let's hope anyway.

Human help to quickly check in, no need to deal with confusing technologies - a big plus even for a tech person. The wait time is quite reasonable for a walk-in that I did for X-ray. Like 10minutes total. The technician was nice and helpful as well. Easy to follow her instructions. Quick and easy process that took about 5-10minutes in the X-ray room.

They don't offer the ability to call you back, nor to schedule online, so you must wait on hold to get an appointment. Just an awful customer experience. I never was able to get through to them.

Easy, friendly, accurate, pleasant. Wait time? None. I was taken in promptly at my appointment time. Facility? Immaculate. Supplies? Considerate. Locking lockers, take the key with you. Shorty gowns, so there isn't extra material to get in the way. Deoderant etc provided if you would like to use it. Coffee in the waiting room. Technician? Outstanding. Thorough. Careful, considerate, gentle. Personable and even funny. They've really got a good thing going; at this point, I would recommend them to friends and family without reservation. Note: I have not received results yet, so if they biff that and don't send them or something, I'll re-review. Also, I have another appointment with them for a different matter in a couple of weeks, so, of course, if my experience is vastly different, I'll re-review. They were able to schedule me same day, and the experience was very professional and empathetic. Getting a pelvic ultrasound is not the funnest thing, but the staff and ultrasound tech who worked with me was fantastic and kind, walking me through each step of the way and ensuring I was comfortable the entire time. The ambiance of music and light show of the ceiling was a great touch to make the experience less intense. I appreciate the care I received and would recommend this clinic and ultrasound experience to other patients!

The PA finally came in and explained that the computers were down. He told me that I didn't have a fracture and mumbled something about what it could be from behind his mask. I asked for clarification, and he repeated it, with no explanation or further information. He asked whether I wanted to fill the prescription there or go to my pharmacy. I said that I'd rather just get it there, and he disappeared for quite a while again. When he came back, he told me that I couldn't get the prescription there because of the downed systems, so he gave me a paper prescription, which I took to my pharmacy. The next morning, I went to pick up the prescription, only to find out that the ZoomCare PA had filled out the prescription incorrectly, so the prescription couldn't be filled. I called ZoomCare and was told that they'd try to reach the PA so he could resubmit. I asked for a call back for an update. No return call. Six hours later, I called again. Same thing. Two hours after that, same thing. Never a return call. It took more than 48 hours to even get my visit report so I could figure out what the guy had been saying behind his mask. I still have yet to get a return call and have not received my prescription from my pharmacy, presumably because nobody has resubmitted it. This is 4 days after my appointment. I won't be returning to any ZoomCare location.
