People everywhere line up for RSD each year, some hours in advance. And you know what, if you're first in line, those record stores reward your time and dedication. Well, not Lefty's. If you get there early and you're the very first person in a long line, as I was, it means absolutely nothing to them. I lined up for RSD this morning, before anyone else. But when they opened, Lefty's let everyone in at the same time and it was an absolute cluster*uck. There was absolutely no order whatsoever. Nobody from Lefty's bothered to communicate any type of operational procedure for the event. And the RSD releases were just randomly set out in boxes for the horde of people to fight over. Lefty's handling of this event was so disorganized and unprofessional. I won't be making plans to go there at any point in the future. Good riddance!

The name doesn't really tell you they're a comics/collectibles store, and you sort of think it might be a video or music store. I'm glad we investigated and saw their actual genre, which was something we are super interested in - COMICS! The attendant we spoke with was very nice and helpful when we were trying to find certain issues (for our Wolverine collection). They had comics from many different era; new books. classic issues, graphic novels, and even a kids section. We definitely spent a long while thumbing through all the comic boxes and looking at the display walls. Stop here for sure, if you're a comic collector and happen to live near or be driving through Lincoln!

My daughter had some old coins and old bills and several very rare error notes paper money and a couple of very rare error coins. He looked at us and his EXACT words were "NO I WON'T BUY ANY OF THIS, BECAUSE IT'S ALL SHIT, He said "everyone thinks what they have is rare,but in reality all of YOU people are FUCKING stupid and do not know anything about collecting money.....EVERYONE THINKS THE THINGS THEY HAVE ARE WORTH SOMETHING,WELL THEY AREN'T. I was excited to be going to a new comic shop with my husband. We have been collecting comics for…read moreyears and know how to handle them. Going inside for the first time, we were coldly greeted, as I replied and tried to make small talk, I was one worded. (Not very friendly) as we start to look around, I quickly noticed how careless they are with the comics. NONE of them had supporting backs so they didn't bend with pressure or ruin the spine and they were completely unorganized. There were comics laying around not in the proper places everywhere. I thought maybe they just got a shipment but no, the worker was sitting on his phone paying no mind to us, asking if we need help or the other gentleman who looked like he did. I got towards the back of the store and noticed a box that said "New arrivals" that was completely full with another very full box on top of the "new arrivals" box, bending the comics on bottom and I mean they were bent in half. Any collector knows you clearly do NOT treat comics that way as they are fragile, especially since they didn't put supporting backs in the sleeves. I started to look for a few comics I wanted to fill some gaps in and realized that there was no way I was going to find anything specific because of how unorganized they were. My husband was having to dig dig dig to find a comic that wasn't ruined. He was able to find some, but as we checked out, the guy again was cold and not friendly at all and was completely mishandling our comics to the point something had to be said. He actually bent one of the comics we purchased because of his carelessness. We take pride in taking care of our possessions, especially our comics. I am sad to say that I wouldn't recommend going to this place, and we definitely won't be returning. A disgusted collector.
