Their selection…read moreisn't bad if you're looking for stuff for certain RPGs in particular like Warhammer 40k, but surprisingly limited in others like D&D. The pricing is a bit high too compared to online suppliers like Amazon. My guess would be that the owner keeps only the most popular stuff on hand, especially supplies that are used in games played at the store. That aspect is pretty cool in that there are tables in the back of the store for use by players. There's a whiteboard calendar that shows when there are events going on and such. Check it out, there's some cool stuff to look at!

It's a shame, but there's a social activist politically trolling one of the owners using their own domain that Gauntlet let lapse. Blah, blah, blah. Would be w shame if Lincoln lost a great local geek paradise due to such hate. The group is inclusive and encourages my disabled son to participate.

I was excited to be going to a new comic shop with my husband. We have been collecting comics for…read moreyears and know how to handle them. Going inside for the first time, we were coldly greeted, as I replied and tried to make small talk, I was one worded. (Not very friendly) as we start to look around, I quickly noticed how careless they are with the comics. NONE of them had supporting backs so they didn't bend with pressure or ruin the spine and they were completely unorganized. There were comics laying around not in the proper places everywhere. I thought maybe they just got a shipment but no, the worker was sitting on his phone paying no mind to us, asking if we need help or the other gentleman who looked like he did. I got towards the back of the store and noticed a box that said "New arrivals" that was completely full with another very full box on top of the "new arrivals" box, bending the comics on bottom and I mean they were bent in half. Any collector knows you clearly do NOT treat comics that way as they are fragile, especially since they didn't put supporting backs in the sleeves. I started to look for a few comics I wanted to fill some gaps in and realized that there was no way I was going to find anything specific because of how unorganized they were. My husband was having to dig dig dig to find a comic that wasn't ruined. He was able to find some, but as we checked out, the guy again was cold and not friendly at all and was completely mishandling our comics to the point something had to be said. He actually bent one of the comics we purchased because of his carelessness. We take pride in taking care of our possessions, especially our comics. I am sad to say that I wouldn't recommend going to this place, and we definitely won't be returning. A disgusted collector.

The coinery has been around for many years...and for many years I've gone and bought things every now and then..BUT NO MORE..the guy that works here is VERY unprofessional NOT trustworthy and just an unfriendly unkind person HIS NAME IS JOHN! I wouldn't send ANYONE at all to this guy. He doesn't know what he ls talking about half the time he makes things up as he goes. Recently I took my daughter who was very excited about collecting coins in with me to the coinery and John "helped" us. In air quotes because I won't call what he did or said helping us. My daughter had some old coins and old bills and several very rare error notes paper money and a couple of very rare error coins. He looked at us and his EXACT words were "NO I WON'T BUY ANY OF THIS, BECAUSE IT'S ALL SHIT, He said "everyone thinks what they have is rare,but in reality all of YOU people are FUCKING stupid and do not know anything about collecting money.....EVERYONE THINKS THE THINGS THEY HAVE ARE WORTH SOMETHING,WELL THEY AREN'T.
